Can I use Gas One butane with this stove?

Yes you can use any type of butane cylinder with the chef master stoves. Just check that they are 8oz canisters.

How long will the fuel last?

I have used mine for about 2 hours now and still have about 1/4 of a canister left

Will it fit a small saucepan with a bottom diameter of 5.5"?

Yes a small pan will fit but watch the heat and flame height. It gets very hot fast.

Is this a good size to get a cast iron pan hot enough to seat steaks outside?

Yes, I have made bacon in a cast iron fry pan with this stove, no problem...
