I’d put a few pounds on last year but being on a low carb diet (I’d gone off piste to put weight on..) I knew I could lose a pound a week very comfortably by getting back on the diet, even with a cheat-day Saturday. However, I was also looking to finally start using the home gym I’d fitted, so needed to ensure my daily protein intake was high enough to ensure that the muscle I’d be breaking down would be repaired and increased. Long story short, a protein shake can top up the protein without adding too many calories so are ideal. Now I’d used protein shakes a long time ago from this company and loved the Dutch Chocolate flavour as it wasn’t too sweet, and even after months of daily shakes I never felt inclined to change flavours. Unfortunately they no longer make this, so I opted for the Salted Caramel and bought the large 2.5kg bag as it works out cheaper. If I didn’t like the flavour, tough. As it is, the flavour is fine and I’m halfway through the bag, having just the one shake as a last ‘meal’. One scoop of whey gives you 22g of protein, and at one time it was suggested that the body could only absorb/digest around 20 grams at once, with any more than that basically wasted. More recent studies suggest it ‘could’ be double that, so let’s say around 30 grams is probable. With this in mind, if you mixed your shake with 200ml of full fat milk you’d have 28g of protein and a nice creamy shake. Personally I mix a scoop of protein into 200ml of water and add one raw egg, because there’s a lot of goodness/nutrients in an egg as well as 7g of protein and some saturated fat which I need on a low carb diet for fuel. My 29g of protein shake with water and egg is whisked with an electric hand blender in a tall plastic beaker and has zero lumps or texture. I also add a 5g scoop of Creatine which is great for recovery, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that my local ‘Home Bargains’ store has a very large range of high quality Creatine products and even protein in one isle, so I picked a 500g tub up at a decent price which also contained Magnesium.

This protein shake tastes amazing, honestly better than anything I’ve ever used before. No chalky aftertaste, no weird artificial flavor, just smooth, rich, and genuinely enjoyable. It feels more like a treat than a supplement. I actually look forward to drinking it every day, which has never been the case with protein shakes for me. Mixes perfectly and goes down so easily. Once you try this, nothing else compares. Highly recommend!

Having been using the plain one in my cold coffee since starting my MJ journey (around 6 months) I was told to make sure I got enough protein in to not lose muscle mass. Wheb doing research I found for me the best why to do it was adding plain powder to food. So I come across Bulk Pure way. Not going to lie, I honestly bought it because of the price, I dint wanna pay loads for something that was going to taste like wood chip! HOWEVER, I have had no complaints from this! It blends amazing in cold coffee with no after taste. Because I was adding suger free caramel to my coffee I thought I would give this salted caramel a go. I am so glad I did! Makes the coffee taste naughty!!! Have even started drinking it with just milk and ice for them days where I just need a little naughty treat, but without the calories. Will definitely be trying other flavours! As for muscle mass.....am almost 5 stone down and you dont see all my sunken features yet, so must be working. Like i say am not a gym buff etc, am following my MJ journey on a calorie deficit and I feel good.

Mixes well. Not too sweet. Would definitely buy again. Tried salted caramel this time but vanilla is just as good.

Da meine Geschmacksrichtung bei den anderen zwei ganz großen Anbietern nicht verfügbar war, habe ich jetzt mal dieses Whey ausprobiert, da es ja recht gute Rezessionen hatte. Das Wichtigste zuerst, mit dem Geschmack bin ich 100 Prozent zufrieden.; habe Salted Caramell getested. Sicherlich ist Geschmack immer ein subjektives Thema, aber ich finde es weitaus weniger süß und künstlich, als bei anderen Marken. Ich habe den Shake im kleinen elektrischen Mixer, zusammen mit zwei Eiswürfeln zubereitet, und die Konsistenz war wirklich top. Keinerlei Klumpen, nicht zu flüssig und nicht zu dick. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ebenfalls sehr gut und insofern kann ich dir nur eine absolute Kaufempfehlung aussprechen

Produkt ma w nazwie „Pure”, ale jest bardzo mylne, ponieważ zawiera kofeinę, ksantan gumę, barwniki i słodziki. Po zjedzeniu go z jogurtem poczułem się źle i miałem bóle brzucha. Sugeruję unikać go, jeśli dbacie o swoje zdrowie.

Sto usando le proteine in polvere di Bulk al gusto caramello e sono rimasto davvero soddisfatto. Il sapore è molto buono: il caramello è intenso ma non troppo dolce, si scioglie facilmente sia in acqua che in latte o bevande vegetali, senza lasciare grumi. La consistenza rimane liscia anche con una shakerata veloce. Dal punto di vista digestivo mi sono trovato bene: non ho avuto pesantezza né gonfiore, cosa che mi capita con altre proteine. Le assumo dopo l’allenamento e le trovo perfette per il recupero muscolare e per aumentare l’apporto proteico giornaliero. I valori nutrizionali sono equilibrati e gli ingredienti chiari, e nel complesso il rapporto qualità-prezzo è buono. L’unica cosa che secondo me potrebbero migliorare è la confezione: è pratica, ma potrebbe essere più resistente o più comoda da richiudere. In generale, se piace il caramello, questo gusto è davvero una bella scelta.
