Q: Is it normal for there to be floating matter in the bottle or is it suppose to be clear? I just received my bottle of Orgeat and there are floaties.

Yes it’s normal. Only the artificial garbage is clear. Reminder: Good “artisan quality” syrups will separate just as a vinaigrette dressing will, always shake the bottle vigorously immediately before each use.

Q: Could you possibly list the ingredients listed on the package?

Water, sugar, golden cane sugar (Sugar, Invert sugar cane molasses), lime juice, ginger, natural flavor, xanthan gum, citric acid, spices. I bought it as a substitute for their Orgeat as I can only find that in the 350ml bottle. Worked out pretty well in my Trinidad sour - 1oz Angostura bitters, 1/2 oz. Rye Whiskey, 1 oz. Orgeat/Falernum and the juice of one lemon. Shake with ice and strain into a Manhattan glass then garnish with a lemon peel. Tastes like Christmas :-)
