Everdell: Pearlbrook (Collector's Edition)

This game was fairly easy to learn with a group of experience board game players. The components of the game are very unique and the artwork of the cards is wonderful. The gameplay is unique and can be played multiple times with different outcomes, events and characters.

The Pearlbrook is an expansion that’s easy to learn and fun . It has gorgeous pearls and beautiful meeples. The gameplay doesn’t change much , it kinda acts like an extra resource with some restrictions and benefits with the pearls.

This expansion adds a whole new feel to the game.I looked at getting the non-collectors edition but adding the collector's pack later was just going to be more money overall and I really like what the collector's edition adds to this expansion.

If you are looking for an expansion to Everdell that adds some changes to the base game then this is pretty cool. It adds a new section to the board that involves some underwater elements and new resources like pearls.We played it a few times. It nice to have when you want to change it up, but not a must have for us that we always needs to have in play.

The out of the box experience here is great. Everything looks beautiful and is easy to assemble. The new rules are simple and quick to learn. This is a great addition to the original, which is one of my absolute favorites.

Real collector's edition =) but after service need....

Awsome expansion to the game. Cant wait to play it this weekend. I recomend watch it on YouTube it helps alot as I'm more of a visual learner.

This is the english version of the collector's item! It's so much fun and the art is beautiful! Even the box is amazing, I always set it upright on the table when we are playing. All the extra meeples give extra feeling and vibe within the game, want to be platypus, maybe the cute axolotl or a furret? Yes, it's a hard choice when it's all so cute. The new cards blend in amazing and there is no problem with deck bloat. We still get almost a full city every time, it's just more diverse every time we play it.Pearlbrook is a great addition to the base game, the pearls are pretty and a joy to collect. Also the 3D wonders look good. You usually want one wonder and maybe an adornment card. But you also want to build your city! There are so many choices to be made. These adornment cards are two unique cards every player get; they have different properties and can form your strategy. Sometimes i think the most expensive wonder is the best option, while in the end it might not have been that way or vice versa.I'd say this is the best expansion for casual gamers. Instead of having negative weather as in Spirecrest that limits your playability and emphasizes the need for knowledge of cards in the deck. Pearlbrook opens the game up with more choices and more resources to choose from. Sometimes you have 3 or 4 options to choose from, get the biggest wonder, or a smaller one and build a castle, or even smaller wonder and build more and get an adornment card! Sometimes my brains make overtime just for the sake of wanting the most points.This game is an absolute hit for me and my wife. The art, the gameplay, it makes us happy, it's like playing in a fairytale.We combine Pearlbrook with a dutch standard game, as it's not available in Dutch. It combines perfectly fine! I recommend it both for english players, but also for other languages.

We love the base game & this is a great expansion to it, thoroughly enjoyed playing it.
