Picky Peckers Organic Chicken Layer Feed 10 lbs | 100% USDA Certified Organic

I feed this product to my chicken daily. The chicken LOVES it! At every feeding, not a scrap is left behind. The feed is very fresh, and though some reviews say it can be crumby or powdery, I find that our chicken eats up everything no matter how small or large with joy. I did have a shipping mix-up, but a quick call that was answered straight away at the company's phone number resulted in an immediate fix, and with great care, and positive attitude. I couldn't be happier, and will order this time and time again!

I really like the ingredients of this, and that it's organic. It smells fresh and nice when you open the bag. But there's not much in between the large unshelled sunflower seeds and peas, and the ground grains that are very powdery. So my chickens picked around the seeds and peas, and didn't really like the powdery parts. They don't like to eat pellets, so if your chickens do, then they might like this. I think I will sift out the whole seeds for the winter birdfeeder.

2 hens like it. I also mixed it with other chicken scratch that they weren't eating and they ate all of it.

It’s expensive but my hens love it and it makes them lay daily along with whole kernel corn. Literally never had so many eggs ans happy hens. It’s just a small bag goes fast like a few days for 14 hens.

I loved the ingredient list of this food. It appears to be fresh/lovely that way. But it is almost all dust/tiny granules with little whole or cracked grain pieces. My *bantam* girls just won't eat the tiny granule/dust-sized stuff. Scratch and Peck food has similar consistency, but a lot less dust/tiny granules, and the girls are happy with that. Perhaps I just got a bum bag? I don't know. I just saw more waste with this food than with some of the others we've used.

A chicken showed up a week ago and appearantly wants to befriend my cat. She went crazy when i used your feed. I got a new home for her once virus stay inside orders are lifted.

My 8 year old hens LOVE this blend. They both began laying eggs after a season on none. I was delighted believing my single ladies were in henopause...surprise, surprise...beautiful, tasty eggs for another season. 💜
