I got these for the doors on a Squareback Camper I'm building. I really like the lever action on these and I think they will work out nice.

Make sure door is thick enough to receive the part without splitting the sides of the chiseled channel

I was replacing broken plastic latches. These metal ones are much stronger. I had to make a slight modification to the door, but I'm satisfied with how they work.

It’s a great lock, heavy and sturdy. Using it as a gift /puzzle box mechanism but would work well for doors as its intended purpose
