Salewa Mountain Trainer Men's Shoes

Bought these shoes as i had plantar faciilitis in the foot, where walking became almost unbearable. These Salewa shoes after wearing for 3 days fixed the problem, i was amazed. I then inserted insoles and now my feet feel well protected. These shoes remind me when i was younger getting fitted up for my first pair of shoes. These help you walk more correctly where the weight from upper body is evenly distributed over the foot. It feels like your walking more on the balls of your feet, towards the front part of foot. I would highly recommend this brand of footwear especially if your out walking a lot. You need good, sturdy and robust footwear, Salewa more than provides that. Also folk with feet problems should try this brand Salewa. Could end up being a smart decision......

Great looking hiking / approach shoe I’m a size 9uk. But ordered a 1/2 size bigger ,glad I did as they fit perfect Time will tell how they last , but seem very well built and have great support , and a bonus that there blister free

Sturdy, no blisters (like all Salewa footwear) and waterproof. Not much lighter than normal boots so limited benefit for me. Nice in the few hot days we get in Scotland or lower level hikes but they haven't changed my preference for boots.

Fit well. Perhaps a little loose on the heel for me but nice sturdy sole, goretex. 3rd pair of sales.. like them

Solid, comfortable, with secure footing. Took it up first 1000 m hill within 3 days of delivery - in v. hot weather (35 C). No problems of any kind - no discomfort, or blisters, good grip on all terrain. Very happy with my purchase, but this is the third pair of Salewa Mountain Trainers I have had, and I will keep coming back to them.

These are a straight replacement for my go to walking/approach shoes which lasted me 6 years. Original shoe maintained its shape and structure with only the vibram sole tread wearing through after this time. They are perhaps stiffer and slightly heavier than other approach shoes but offer a stable walking platform throughout its life.

Way too heavy

Ive had these before about 3 years ago in size 6 when they were made in Vietnam. These are made in Romania and are smaller sized in comparison. The pair i had delivered here were 6.5 but the left one had a manufacturing fault the left one was visibly deformed slightly in the toe, tight and uncomfortable. Ive order the 7 to allow for this, but they are way to big. Other than that, they look good, seem well made, are more comfortable then the older versions, stiff, light enough and hopefully waterproof. ive had to send them back sadly.

Mal sehen, wie er nach 1000 km Jakobsweg ausschaut!!! Wenn er diese Strecke überlebt, hat er seinen Dienst erfüllt und es gibt einen "neuen".

Zapatos comodos, buena calidad de materiales, suela muy bien estructurada. Este modelo lo tengo en dos colores. Los recomiendo. Recuerda que la suela es semirugida, yo utilizo un 47, peso 80 kg y ando con ellos como si fuera un zapato normal. Para numeros pequeños debes tener en cuenta que puede dar cierta rigidez al andar.

Halten nun schon viele Jahre! Allerdings Schweisfuß anfällig!

Belle, resistenti e comode, ottime per il trekking leggero e l'avventura. Sono un buon compromesso prezzo-qualità, per ora ho fatto due escursioni (2000m di dislivello in totale), vediamo se con il tempo manterranno queste qualità

Super comfortable as ever. These are the 5th pair of Salewa shoes I've bought and I just wear them everywhere. They're very supportive and the sole is great on any surface. My only issue is that the laces are too red and too long. I wanted to swap them out for black laces but the eyelet holes are so narrow that only the supplied red laces will fit - I just wish they weren't so conspicuously red. The laces are also about 20cm too long but I was able to fix that by cutting that length off one end and then melting the tip so it won't fray.
