Tempo Communications PA901054 CoaxReady Tool Kit - 9 Piece Set (Formerly Greenlee Communications)

I've been crimping coax and using Paladin tools since I first started repairing and installing consumer electronics 25 years ago. I don't know if the company has gone tremendously downhill or if this is a knock-off tool I got, but the crimpers don't line up, and fit and finish is terrible. You can make these crimpers work, so add one star for that at least. But it is a pain and they aren't 'nice' to operate like other paladin tools I have used.

This is not an inexpensive tool, especially since I may only use it a few times a year. It is well made, as is almost everything from Greenlee. There is a selection of the most often used dies that comes with the kit. Despite having those dies, you will probably end up buying additional sizes, to match the never ending array of cables that the cable makers produce. With this purchase, I may have gone from finding dies sized to match my cable, to only buying cable that fits in my dies. Good way to make amateur radio friends, crimping cable connectors to help them with their new installation. Nice kit.

This crimper is a must have for anybody that works with coax cables, Very good quality and construction. The tooling adapters for multi size coax cable are of the highest quality. I am very Happy with this purchase. A+++
