I ordered this box on a deep discount. I was warned that Amazon could not deliver without destroying the box. Unfortunately, they were correct. The first one was completely bent up and out of level. Some of the drawers wouldn't even open. I sent it back. They sent me another one, but UPS refused to deliever it due to damage during shipping. Amazons chat customer service answer was to cancel my order. I told that I wanted the box and for them to deliever without destroying it. I feel the chat customer service is a waste of time and will have better experience if you call. The third one arrived in packaging that was in good shape other then one corner bottom where it had been pushed on a floor. After all, it does weight 120lbs and is not on a pallet. After removing the packaging I could see the box was a little dented up in one corner. I decided that I could repair it myself, since the box overall was fine. Very disappointed in Amazon in there inability to deliever a box that wasn't beat up. I ordered the bottom box from Sears.com and it arrived on a pallet, with no damage. This box needs to be on a pallet or needs twice the amount of cardboard to protect it. I have a feeling that Amazon is removing the pallets for storage, since I have experience in shipping and most heavy are palleted. I am sure Sears would have done a better job...which isn't saying much. If I would have paid full price, there is no way I would have accepted this. I would have moved my purchase to an outfit that can deliever on their promise. I will not order anything large from Amazon again.As far as the box itself, this is no professional series box. It has very stiff drawer detents, but they are slowly breaking in. It is a set up from the entry level Craftsman box, but it is no Snap-on/Matco box. I have experience with the higher level International boxes and they are much nicer, however, their price is much higher as well. For the price, I think its a fine box and will serve me well.

I thought at half price, this was a sure thing. unfortunately, the $400+ regulaor price tag on this does not reflect its quality. The sheet metal is very thin, and dents very easy (more on this later). Even at half price, I still feel this box is overpriced.The drawers operate well, with the locking feature having about the right resistance. It has 10 drawers, compared to the usual 8 for this size. There's drawer liners included for all the drawers, but not the top compartment. And here ends the positive things about it.What really lets this box down is Amazon's inability to deliver one in decent condition. After sending 3 boxes, all of which arrived with a lot of damage, Amazon gave up and refunded me my money. The packaging on these boxes is just not good enough for shipping via UPS. It needs to be strapped to a pallet and shipped common carrier. Even then I doubt it would arrive in perfect shape, but at least it should be less crushed upon arrival. There's no "cushion" zone on the top and bottom of the cardboard box, so any impact on those sides will lead to damage on the box. There is about 1" of cushion zone on the other 4 sides, but unfortunately no protection to speak of. There's some small pieces of cardboard tossed in there seemingly at random, but these pieces only cover about 5-10% of the sides, so unless an impact happens to hit on that area, the box will be damaged.The "International" badge on the front wasn't even put on straight.Overall very unimpressed for the price. I was hoping to support a Canadian company instead of buying a Chinese box from the local smelly rubber store, but unfortunately the Chinese box has the Canadians beat on price, quality and packaging.

I read review after review about damages to the box or how they returned the item 4 times ect...and I'm more of a make my own opinion kinda guy. So I took the chance and I got a damaged product. The box quality is a good box. The drawers are nice tho there is a good pull resistance when opening them and the lock is a standard hook and latch type except for the damage this it a nice box.

The deal was awesome, however the cheap packing material and lack of material. It took 4 deliveries with damage to all 4 tool boxes, ranging from crushed to twisted. The last one was just dented, I was able to repair it. Amazom was very easy to work with, they applied a discount. Making it a even better deal. Maybe the use of better packing material instead of the cheapest box on the market, could have saved someone alot of money. 4 tool boxes and 4 delivery charges compared to 1 box, 1 delivery with better packaging.

I purchased this for my shop. It says tradesman version. It did not last too long. I have tried almost every make and model of toolbox and have now come to the conclusion that I only purchase Snap On Tools. I even tried one of International's professional grade toolboxes that cost the same as a Snap on. It was not the same. My advice is find a good used Snap on KLR toolbox and you will never regret it.

Product arrived damaged. I returned it. It arrived in the allotted time. The service was fine and I am sure the tool chest was except for being damaged. This was not the fault of the tool chest.

Very happy with product. Shipping was great . No damage at all. Draw slides are a little light duty. Drawers have more play in them then im used to.

Top quality tool box. Don't waste your money on a snap on or mac brand! Don't be stupid, buy an International Tool Box and save money.
