Besides the fact this is in Mandarin and not Cantonese. This books perfect as is with an upgraded USB charger. That being said, the books sturdy and has two volume levels. Unsure about the charging and how to tell if its full charge or not. For the cost of this book, education and tone structure matters when learning a language. That being said... the sound and quality coming from this book sounds like a singer and worth it's value for toddlers. Then again this is comparable to a toy a child may rather have. A lot of toys. My toddler wanted a Cantonese book, as he speaks Cantonese. Mandarin works too, due to my boy apparently liking the singer and songs. Very well sung songs, and with words that can follow up with proper pronunciation as well. Get if your child is learning another language. It is very important to catch hidden tones in different languages in order to speak and understand languages in different dialogues. But again... there are other resources you can do for this as well and it won't cost you as much.

Bought for my mother to gift to my grandson for my daughter‘s baby shower. The book was a big hit. She loves to read it to him because she can only read in Greek it’s well-made and will be buying the more for future grand nieces and nephews.

This is the second time I've bought this for a baby shower. The songs have a good sound and are very authentic. The only issue is one of the pages did not have any sound And never worked. Update: I contacted the seller and they were super quick to respond and immediately shipped out a replacement! I highly recommend this product and seller! 😊

Wish the songs were a little longer and the singer was actually native greek speaker because she does have an accent. But overall the book is great, love the USB option, even though we have it for almost a year now and haven’t charged it yet. Hopefully they create a new book with more Greek songs. My two year old loves this book and songs along with it

Everything looks and works exactly as advertised. My son figured out very quickly how to activate the different songs and loves to Listen & read along. My only, not complaint necessarily (after all this is an ‘electronic device’ and electronics eventually are going to need a battery replacement) is I wish this came with an extra set of batteries or at least the tool to replace the battery. When I came back on Amazon to search for the batteries I realized the book makers obviously know this is going to happen & they are only too happy to oblige by making a battery replacement kit for these books! Companies in the book business don’t typically also sell batteries and screwdrivers, but these guys do. Comes with about 10 replacement batteries and the tiny screwdriver capable of opening the battery compartment. Not expensive kit, but again, could have been included with the book. All in all a great & durable product for kids with parents teaching their kids Portuguese.

I’ve bought this back in September, it started acting a little weird (not playing the full song) I thought it might be the battery, I’ve replaced the batterie but unfortunately it didn’t help! I’ve emailed the company and they got back to me with a link to how to fix the problem, it worked perfectly! My son is obsessed with the songs and I’m really glad the book is working again!

This book should not be sold. Period. Let this be a warning - trusttttt the other negative reviews. I ordered it FIVE (what was I thinking?!) times hoping one would be an acceptable gift, but unfortunately it never panned out. The first Greek book mostly worked (should have just settled with it) except for two pages. As it was a gift, I returned & replaced it in hopes the next would be fine. Subsequently, I repeated this purchase/return process four more times, each book more defective than the last. I eventually gave up after NONE of the pages on the final book I received worked. It’s terrible that this product is being sold under false pretenses as it’s not functional. It’s defective. Moreover, people who are lucky enough to receive a book that functions report that it stops working soon thereafter. Apparently, customer service is a nightmare as well. Thankfully, I didn’t deal with them, as I returned through Amazon. It’s a cute idea, I really wanted to love it, but avoid, avoid, avoid at all costs!

Beautiful book and beautiful nursery rhymes however a little too expensive for what you are getting. I was disappointed that the button on the first page did not work but the other 5 pages were fine. Unfortunately only 5 out of the 6 nursery rhymes with actual sound worked in the book I purchased.
