This Drop-D tuner stays in tune very well; I can always trust it to flick straight from E to D and back without falling out of tune. However, I've started using natural harmonics (fifth fret E string, twelfth fret D string) to tune to drop-d quickly and the harmonics on the fifth fret of the E string and the seventh fret of the A to tune back to E, which is also very fast. Unless you need to switch between standard and drop tunings in the middle of a song, I wouldn't drop all of the money for this tuner.

No tuning problems, good install solidly made.

The perfect final touch to my custom Telecaster. Works perfectly; very well built and it looks great. Low E string can be dropped to D or back in less than a second.
