No I took my regular size however if you intend using with a thick ski sock it might be preferable. they are quite roomy after a couple of wears

They are slippers not hiking boots and they exist as I bought a pair for my better half. They are awesome! I have a dark blue pair and they are very well made compared to the flimsy standard mules!

Can these be worn outdoors e.g walking for about 30 minutes ?

If your happy treading dirt from outside in then yes. Hard rubber sole but would wear quickly used a lot outside! Great bit of kit that helps save us money on our heating bills over the winter!

Can I put these slippers in the washer?
