Very good product!
Alarm is loud and has braces to keep it attached to bed. Itโs sensitive to motion which I like. Overall very pleased.

I now have piece of mind and a better night's sleep!
On reading the reviews the only thing I was concerned about was the battery not fitting. To my surprise, a battery was included and already installed! My Mom was trying to get out of bed at night and I was so afraid she would fall. This alarm has given me piece of mind, and a much better night's sleep! The beeping is loud enough that I can hear it pretty much through the house, but it doesn't really upset my Mom at all (when getting her up in the am, it does go off, maybe an on/off button would be a practical solution?) But there is a button on the unit to push to stop the alarm. I've hung this on the foot of the bed, and it does have to be plugged it to an outlet.

A huge help for keeping our mother-in-law safe at night!
This bed alarm system has been a tremendous help for monitoring our mother-in-law and preventing nighttime falls. The sensor pad is extremely sensitive and responsive, instantly triggering the alert the moment pressure is removed. The volume on the monitor is loud enough to hear clearly from another room, which provides incredible peace of mind during overnight hours. It is well-built, dependable, and has truly eased the stress of our daily caregiving routine. โThe only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is that it does not include a wall adapter in the box. While you can run it on batteries or use a spare power block you have lying around, having to source your own plug is a bit inconvenient out of the box. Aside from that minor detail, the performance of the alarm itself is top-notch and has given our whole household great peace of mind.

Very poorly made product
Very cheap product. Would not even power on after inserting batteries. Accompanying literature makes it clear that this is a cheap Chinese product.

Works, but be careful of one quirk
Giving this just 3 stars because of two issues I've had. First, the I ordered the pad pictured here โ 10"x30" โ but it didn't work with my Mom: The alarm kept going off at the slightest movement. I called the company, and the owner (?) himself took my call and explained the problem. Because my Mom weighs less than 115 pounds, I needed the larger sensor pad. He graciously overnighted me the larger version, which worked except for one very important quirk I need to be completely mindful of: Sometimes, the "Reset" button gets stuck in the down position, meaning the alarm won't sound. I believe the instructions explain that the blue light must be flashing for it to be functioning (and that someone laying down on the pad will created a beeping sound), but when the alarm goes off frequently all day and night because of a restless client, it's easy to overlook those issues. Yesterday, I failed to realize that the button was stuck in the down position, and Mom was able to get out of bed without my hearing her, making her way to the bathroom, where she fell. It's also a bit hard to explain to aides how to position it โ for example, they need to understand that Mom can't be "sitting" on the pad or it won't sound when she sit's up because no pressure will be released. I hope the sticky button issue can be fixed because it could happen to anyone. I think this is a good product for the money, but please be extra careful when you use it.
