Cured PO300 multiple random misfire
Cured the PO300 code on my '06 Silverado 4.3 V6. Multiple random misfire. I had installed iridium plugs around 4,000 miles ago and they started to misfire. Have had problems with iridium plugs before so I went with these NGK copper plugs. So far so good. Came pre gapped to spec. . Have always had good luck with NGKs. GR8 price too.

Quality spark plugs at great price
NGK has long been my first choice In spark plugs for Japanese cars and motorcycles, but I usually stuck with OEM brands for American cars. Recently I needed a tuneup on both my 2004 F-150 and 2001 Explorer Sport. I wanted to keep the budget as low as possible so did a lot of shopping around for best prices. The only plugs I found for a lower price were either unbranded or some Chinese name I’ve never heard of. I may be cheap, but I’m not stupid, so I stuck with a quality brand that I know; NGK. I decided to go with the less expensive copper plugs for my Explorer instead of platinum because I don’t put a lot of miles on my vehicles and I couldn’t find any platinum plugs in a pack of 6, only 4 or 8, and the price for singles was considerably higher. Anyway, the only real advantage of platinum is longevity, and if I ever do manage to put another 50k miles on this car I’ll be happy to celebrate with a new set. But with my current driving habits both the car and plugs will most likely outlast me. So, a new set of NGK plugs, along with new NGK plug wires (also purchased from Amazon) has put the zip back into my Explorer. BTW, the plugs are assembled in the USA from Japanese components.
