I wanted a canteen for walks especially this summer. The item fits the bill! The size is good and the mouth opening is wide. I like the cover and the strap which can be adjusted. It is not insulated but the cover should help keep the temperature you want.

Rinsed the bottle when I received it with hot water a small amount of detergent and then a rinse of hot water and lemon juice - absolutely no unpleasant taste! I keep it full at the bottom of my backpack next to my medical kit and it fits perfectly!

Christmas gift for grandson who is in cub scouts. He used it for his camp out Great product, withstood a 7 year old.

I will open with clearly stating that’s it’s done as it’s intended to do. It holds water well, doesn’t leak, and doesn’t have much of a plastic smell out of the gates.Oh plastic - I did say plastic. I made the error of grabbing one that said aluminum and did a Buy Now. That’s on me, the horrible labeling which is still being deceptive to potential customers after another buyer mentioned it … bad business practice. It’s useless to boil water in the field because it’s plastic.I now use it for a day of outside chores, but it’s second to my Yeti. It’s fantastic for holding liquid, but won’t do what I was needing it for.Hopefully seller fixing deceptive item listing. It does say pvc in the details but the giant header is clearly intended to pull potential buyers. Should be corrected.

So what this is is a chinese PLA canteen. Idk why it doesn't just advertise it as such but who knows. All in all not bad I suppose. The pouch is sturdy and the canteen itself is a heavy gauge aluminum. It's got some weight to it even when it's empty tho. The snaps on the pouch are good and strong but the shoulder strap cant be removed, and is pretty long even at its shortest setting. It does have some good sturdy straps on the back of the pouch for attaching to molle, but the shoulder strap will hang loose and be in the way.

My teen loves having something different than his hydroflask. He said it's more quiet if it falls, etc. It's easier to carry around school with a handle and hooks on backpack.

Strap is a tad short so if you're on the taller side you'll need to improvise some. No leaks. I've already dropped it pretty hard a couple times and it's not that brittle plastic thank gosh. I'm happy 😊
