My granddaughter's sneakers kept coming untied. I honestly think the laces are made out of teflon because no matter how many times I'd double knot them they'd be untied in 5 minutes. Ain't nobody got time for that. I looked online for solutions and ordered 2 different types of lace replacements.First I tried the other ones. They were rubber pieces that you pushed through each eyelet. OMG horrible. It took 5 minutes using pliers to get one into the eyelet. Nope. It would have taken me almost a hour to do both shoes. It took 5 minutes to remove it and 2 minutes to set up the return.This set up is so fast and easy. You lace them through the eyelets just like regular laces, slide on the adjustable lock, trim the ends, and put on the end protectors. Both shoes were done in 5 minutes and they looked great. No more constant double knotting. Couldn't be happier.

I’ve now use these laces on dozens if not hundreds of hikes and they are durable and comfortable. It’s a game changer being able to slip my trail runners on and off like a comfy pair of slippers to shake out rocks or rest my feet without having to tie my shoes. My shoes feel great, and I’ve seen no loss of stability on the trail, even while hiking over rocks and on ice.

These laces look good and are sturdy. The color package works well with a different shoe options. The one thing that would have been helpful is instructions either included with the product of a link to how to put them together. I had used similar shoe laces in the past and was glad for that as it helped me figure out how to put these on.

I did not like the fact there were no instructions, or a second set of the lock clips incase they closed prior to installation.I looked up several YouTube videos; however, since the lock clip was different than others their methods of reopening them failed.Just know there are sets that do come with extra lock clips --> incase they close or if you need to readjust, change, or alter the laces you have installed. <- a fact I did not know despite all of the reading and searching through the multiple brands.

I normally get adult ones of these. Just one of those are as much as this package. I end up cutting so much off. It's a waste of money. Reason is because I wear a size 5 womens and 3 kids shoes. So I found this perfect. As for some of the comments about not having the directions on these is correct. They don't come with directions. But since I buy them all the time that wasn't a issue.

I ordered these for my 9 year old son who has mild cerebral palsy and has limited use of his right side to feel more independent. The plastic closure pieces feel a little cheap and took a few tries to get them closed over the cut laces but once installed we have had zero problems. I did have to google instructions as they did not come with any but they were pretty simple to install. Overall, we are highly satisfied and the seller even emailed checking in to make sure we were happy and received items.

Last year I purchased the lock laces brand elastic for my teenaged son. It was time for a new pair but since lock laces are twice as expensive as this brand I thought I’d give this a shot. I am so impressed with the quality, I believe these are even better quality than the name brand elastic laces!
