this fit on the blender carafe but did not seat properly in the blender. the notches in the outer ring were too thick to fit down far enough for the motor to connect to the blade. had to return it. i was very specific in ordering the correct part for the correct blender model. this is a manufacturing issue. A 40 year old blender my wife had before we met. I was putting it away after cleaning it and this plastic ring just snapped. It lasted 40 years! But there was nothing else wrong with the blender. A new blender wouldn't have cost much more than this did after shipping, but a new blender probably won't last 40 years either. I expect this blender to outlive me now!
