Great range. I have a set of Bluetooth headphones ...
Great range. I have a set of Bluetooth headphones that had a range of only 50 feet when coupled with my Android Razr. I added this adapter to my laptop computer and place it at my garage door entrance. I can roam approximately 150 feet without losing the signal. I work around water and do not carry my phone with me when I work outside.

I'm now a Believer!
I was using an Azio dongle before that worked fine, but would only let me go a small distance from my computer before losing signal. When I saw this one and the posted range, I didn't believe it, but I thought it would be worth a try. I'm now a believer. I've been able to walk down the hall and even go into neighboring offices with walls in-between without my headphones losing a beat of the music or whatever else I'm listening to. My headphones, my cell phones, even my Legend Earpiece I use with my phone while driving were easily paired using the software that came with this dongle. For range, ease, clarity and reliability... this one is the best one I've come across.

Great USB adapter with superior software
This is great USB adapter with superior software. It easily connected to my Logitech Bluetooth Mediaboard Pro keyboard (with integrated touchpad). And I'm using it to transmit music from my Toshiba Satellite A660 to a HomeSpot NFC-enabled Bluetooth audio receiver connected to a Yamaha RX V-571 audio receiver. The software allows the user to specify the type of Bluetooth device the user wants to connect to. I highly recommend the adapter. One caution, though: It's very important to remove the software of whatever USB dongle is on the computer: because the old software can interfere with connections by this adapter.

Bluetooth Functions Work as Advertised (Win 8.1-64 bit) -- CSR Software Causes MS Outlook 365 to crash on startup.
The Dongle works as advertised on my HP ENVY TS15 Notebook PC running Windows 8.1 64-bit with all updates installed (Feb 14 2015). The included software, “CSR Harmony Version 4” installed a module into Microsoft Outlook 365, which crashed MS Outlook 365 upon startup. This Bluetooth USB Dongle was purchased primarily to connect to a Samsung SBH-650 Bluetooth ear buds unit, which is 4 years old but has outstanding sound quality (five stars for Samsung!). I inserted the Dongle into a USB 3.0 port, and the HP ENVY recognized it. The Dongle comes with mini-CD of software called “CSR Harmony Version 4”. I installed the software, all appeared to work well. I (Bluetooth) connected my Samsung SBH-650 earbuds unit to the computer, and heard excellent sound quality. When I started the current version of Outlook 365, Outlook 365 promptly crashed. I restarted the PC and tried starting Outlook 365 again, and it promptly crashed again. I went to Control Panel -> Programs and Features --> Microsoft Office 365-en-us and selected “Full Repair” while connected to the Internet. MS Office 365 performed a complete repair, downloading replacement files as needed from the Microsoft Office 365 server. When the repair completed, I restarted MS Outlook 365. It started correctly (HUGE sigh of relief!) but displayed a message box stating that the “CSR Outlook Stack” was INCOMPATIBLE with Outlook 365 and was disabled – would I like to remove it? I clicked “Yes” and the CSR Outlook Stack was removed from MS Outlook 365.I don’t know why CSR (www.csr.com) needed to insert a Bluetooth software module into MS Outlook. ??&#@*???! I went to the CSR web site support section and submitted a detailed inquiry. I will update this review if I get a reply from CSR.

Perfect Bluetooth adapter, assuming you don't try to use it with PS4 controllers.
It is tiny, it does bluetooth, it works with Raspberry Pi without any setup. What more could you want?Update: 7-28-2017: I bought one of these to use with Raspberry Pi, worked great. Bought another one to use with PS4 controller to play games on PC. If you have PS3 controllers this will work fine, but you won't be able to use it for anything other than PS3 controllers. This does not work at all with PS4 controllers. I use DS4Windows which works with my old cheap bluetooth dongle that is not CSR. No CSR bluetooth adapters will work with the software to connect PS4 controllers. If you plan on using this for anything besides PS4 controlelrs you should be fine and it has a good range. IF you are looking for PS4 bluetooth adapters make sure you get one that does not use CSR.

Bluetooth 4.0 USB Adapter / Network / Dongle / for Win 8 / Win 7 / Vista, Win 2003, Win Xp, Win 2000 - 32 Bit - 64 Bit...
I have had this for some months, and just used it today. It has been installed and works on a Win 7 laptop and a Dell Desktop PC running Vista Professional.I would rate it 5 stars, except for the fact that the specs on the pack said "plug & play", which insinuates that there should be no need for the CD. That was not the case, as I had to use the disc on both the laptop and the PC. I have another Dell, and the CD rom tray has a large open hole - no 'spindle' to hold the mini disc in place - so I don't know how I'll install the drivers on that one.Otherwise, it works as advertised.

I received the adapter super fast shipping
I received the adapter super fast shipping. I opened the package with scissors cutting the installation mini CD. I emailed Sky Wholesale & they responded with a download link within hours, nice support. After installing the software I had a problem connecting Bluetooth Headphones, they showed up in Windows 7 but had no service, I updated the driver & all is well. Nice product, great seller. I will buy again.
