Mizkan Dipping Sauce for Shabu-shabu Soy Sauce Flavor - Pon Shabu

I ordered for a dinner party (shabu shabu) I was hosting in December. I ordered in November so that I would receive the sauce in time for the dinner party.Received the sauce quickly and put it away. The night I'm hosting the dinner, I'm getting everything ready and I go to put the sauce in a serving bottle only to discover the sauce had expired IN SEPTEMBER.I placed my order IN NOVEMBER.Not amused! Thanks for putting a damper on my dinner party!

It's just like eating in the restaurant for less.... love it... I mix it with sesame sauce and chili oil.. My 10 y/o son called now my dining table our little restaurant.. great for Kalbi too..

Ordered this through Amazon Prime. The sauce showed up quickly but was months past its expiration date! The kicker is that it isn't returnable. So I ended up spending $12.95 on something that will go directly into the trash without being opened.

I have used this sauce with rice, dumplings, beef etc and it's wonderful. Way better than the traditional soy sauce which is full of salt and bitter. This is a hard find however, there are Japanese stores who sell this on the shelf 8.4 oz bottle for about two dollars. That would make the price on this website very over priced. Worth using but not at this price. Google the product and find a local store, you could go through 2 gallons of gas and come out about even locally.
