Use these to hook into the tarp providing protection from the rain over your outdoor generator after the storm passes. We opted not to go with the SS version because of cost and that when dried out and sprayed with WD40 will stay rust free until the next time.

Bronze double end bolt snaps used to be inexpensive, but not now. I use these in my dog kennel to hold water buckets, to snap exercise pens together at dogs shows, etc. They have a way of disappearing, like my socks in the washer, and Amazon's snaps are an affordable, and very good replacement. The plating looks good, and I believe will be durable.

They are what you see, they open easily and they seem to be sturdy but we don't put any pressure on them or use them for anything too fancy.

Works great for anything you would want to use them for, not sure how much tensile strength they’d have but work great for around the house.
