It works great and Waterpik has great customer service!
This looked like an affordable device, so I got one to try out. It came with enough styluses for a few purposes and people. It's easy to use and the water pressure is impressive. I don't have it on full force because it's pretty strong! When I use it, I can see a lot of little things flowing out that I didn't know were wedged in my teeth or gums. I've been liking this enough to get those rear wisdom teeth that I ordered some new accessories. My rear wisdom teeth are so far back that they're partially hidden. Removing them would be brutal, and flossing them is almost impossible. This really helps. There is a plastic reservoir that acts as a cover for the unit. Lift the "cover", invert it, fill it with water, and plug it into the top. When it's in place, a small valve opens up and water is fed into the unit. I had a problem with mine and when I put water in, it would start slowly streaming out because the valve wouldn't close properly. I'd get water all over the sink. I looked in the back of the instruction manual, and there was an actual 800 number listed for customer support. So many places don't want you calling and only give a website or email address. It was nice to see an actual phone number. I called and was only on hold for a minute before I was talking to someone. I explained the problem and she put me on hold while she looked up the availability of sending me out a new reservoir. It turns out that a small spring closes the valve when the reservoir is not inserted, and the spring was not properly resting in its chamber. While on hold, I noticed it was a little off, reached in with a toothpick, and popped it back in place. That fixed it. When the woman got back to me, I told her I fixed it and didn't need her but thanked her for her great assistance. It was GREAT that the company gave you a number you can call with issues and have people that can help you quickly. That's very good customer service!

Works well
The price range on these units vary. We didn’t buy the most expensive one but this one gets the job done. It can be be noisy for some but for us it gets in between the teeth clean.

Function A/Design C
It arrived well packaged and on time as promised when ordered. It is much smaller than the previous model which I appreciate as I have very limited space on my sink counter. I think it is reasonably priced and while it works quite well, with no leakage like the previous version, but it does have some design issues for me. First, the electrical connection is on the left side of the device not the back. This might have been designed to make the back more flush to the wall, but the cord wrapping around it defeats any flush fit to the wall and is cumbersome. The excessive electrical cord is stiff and bulky taking up counter space too. The off/on knob is tiny and requires a pinch action to turn it off and on instead of a simple rotation and its placement on the device makes it awkward to manipulate with arthritic fingers and wrists. Why couldn't it be larger, like the knob to adjust the force of water flow? Lastly the whole thing is very flimsy. The weight of water in the reservoir makes it fairly stable but when empty the coiled water hose, which is very springy and hard to manage, when pulled out from its little nest pulls around the entire device. Further It doesn't have rubber feet to at least slow down the slipping and sliding on the counter top. These design issues kept it from being 5 stars for me, it's just not as thoughtfully designed as it could be from my rather critical point of view. However on the plus side, the price was affordable and i know using it really does help keep my teeth and gums healthier than just brushing. Since I discovered most brands of dental floss are coated with Teflon, I quit using floss as it can make microscopic cuts into sensitive gums....no Teflon wanted there. So, I'll modify the off on dial by gluing a larger button over it, and stuff some putty like substance in the tiny little feet and perhaps glue something flat and weighty to the bottom to make it more stable. Nothing I can do about the electrical cord placement. Its smaller size makes it likely to fit more easily into a suitcase but I'm skeptical about its travel worthiness. The idea of wedging it into a tightly packed suitcase knowing how much abuse that suitcase will endure with airport baggage handlers and it's fragile, eggshell plastic parts plus unknown internal water and electrical connections can only be determined by experience. However, macht nicht because I didn't buy it for that purpose, just saying.... I've had it and used it every day for about a month and it is working well and does not leak. Not rave worthy but so far effective.

Small but mighty
Works great, easily portable with a huge tank, and simple to clean. Heads snap in securely which I prefer over ones that are looser. I bought this 5 years ago and it's still going strong. I like a powerful water flosser and I'm pleased that this one is strong enough for even me at its max, but can be dialed way down for the tenderest of gums. That said, this thing is LOUD. Various noise meters put this between 70 and 90 dB. That's the same noise level as your vacuum or hair dryer. It's not a painful range but maybe consider the timing of your water flossing if you don't live alone or have neighbors with thin walls.

Update it’s OK but not as good as I thought
UPDATE: 😇 after having this for a longer period of time for me very disappointed most of all that the handle of the actual Forster that’s so nice and light actually keeps trying to pop out of its the holder👎👎👎👎(you’ll see the handles hold held vertically):…. my only conclusion is that after a while The coil tube changes how it lays and causes the handle not to fit in its holder! this is a horrible because even when it’s turned off , water will drip out😖😝!!! Super messy frustrating Ect. One important fact is I do use Head hit the septic like irrigant which is the product explains is absolutely fine …directions say (and I’ve been negligent doing that with this smaller size) so I can’t blame water pic but rinsing it out so much not only waste product but also is kind of a chore for me because I use it two or three times a day and sometimes up to five times because of some dental work.. In conclusion as long as water pick keeps offering replacement parts For the prior larger in a little older wanna pick flossers I would absolutely true that. And also to update you what I will miss about the smaller one is what it is so nice to have a smaller contraption in my bathroom and as I said the handle is so nice and light .., unfortunately after these months it’s just not holding up as I think it should. One good thing I’ll update you on is I mentioned below that by accident I would hit a switch on the handle that would loosen the head so you could change tube…, I was concerned this would keep on happening however I’m very happy to say it hasn’t happened other than once or twice my first began using it.. I hope this makes sense it’s rather late but I just want to let people know right away particularly because the holidays are here. So blessings to you all. (Additionally …and again I don’t know if this is just me…but the stream of water has stopped working once or twice 👎this could be due to various things that could be my fault but I didn’t have this problem with the larger older countertop model. I’m going to leave the information following this update.., 😇SomeUpdate it’s OK but not as good as I thought things but needs some improvement: The good things are the handle is really light 👍and much smaller than the regular countertop that I bought many years ago from Water pick 👍 Seems to me to be approximately hy a third call her in size on the original countertop so that’s great 👍👍 What I love about the smaller model is I would’ve thought a lighter handle wouldn’t have suited me and worked as well however it seems to be easier😳 What I love about the smaller model is I would’ve thought a lighter handle wouldn’t have suited me and worked as well however ..it seems to be EASIER To floss my teeth with water now🎉🎉 What I find doesn’t work for me as well: 1) The handle unlike the old countertop , has a switch which I keep on hitting by accident cause it’s on the handle👎 What happens is this releases the dispenser tube (excuse me but CANT recall what their real name is right now😆)… so of course the water spills out and it may happen slowly so I may not even realize the valve was not in place.. therefore it takes more time to floss and of course it’s a bit messy👎…I DONT UNDERSTAND Why the release is not like the older countertop because that NEVER Happens👍 👎 this brings up a real issue for me because I love the old countertop you can replace the rubber gasket in The tub that holds water👍 I HAD NOT know about this great feature and so my water was leaking from the tub for years but I managed to work around it buT Replacing a little rubber gaskets is the countertop new life span 🙌🏻the gaskets on Amazon ?they are very inexpensive..)… means I can keep the flosser in good shape… on this small countertop they have a spring and the more plastic gasket and I’m fearful that that may not hold up however perhaps it can be replaced I haven’t checked it out yet. If not , That feature may not hold up like the other old countertop and by the way I don’t know if the new water pick regular larger size countertop still offers that feature.🤷🏻♀️ I sure hope so this brings up another overall larger concern because this water in general is not constructed substantially is my old one👎!!!!’ I really don’t like for instance how the handles plastic seam appears to be already NOT “seamlessly”held together🥹 So overall.., Therefore if I didn’t need worry about portability.., I would and may still just get the new countertop once I check out the features are replaceable like the old countertop. Hello Miss how easy it is to use Thie smaller counte top Model… 👎👎👎 I really dislike that it doesn’t come with a carrying case 😱I would mark this three stars however I didn’t want Yo Turn offpeople who don’t mind what means a very important feature that’s missing!! Also instead of a five I rated this for because I’m really suspect about it holding up I will update if I decide to keep it and it keeps working well and also let you know if I keep pressing the button that releases the Flossing tubes…🙃

Compact size, works very well
I had an old full-size Waterpik from the 1990s that finally had to be replaced. I like that this one is compact and takes very little horizontal or vertical space on the bathroom sink. The power is almost as good as the old one (the #2 setting on this one matches the #1 setting on the 1990s model, and the higher settings on this one are quite powerful). I find the 15 oz. tank sufficient for a single use (if you need more, you can just refill it) and don't miss having a lid because it doesn't splatter, and I like being able to invert the tank afterward to save space. As for the noise complaints, I find it slightly less noisy than my very old model (I can listen to the radio while running it which I could not with the old one). I don't plan to bring it for travel; while it's smaller and a bit lighter than the full-size model, it still seems a bit heavy, and the case purchased separately costs as much as the appliance. I had a smaller travel model many years ago which I didn't keep; this one works better than that one did. Note that this model does not have dual voltage. The child's model looks very similar (the switches are a bit different and it has fewer speeds) and has dual voltage so it may be more useful for international travel. I'm a big fan of the Waterpik because my cleanings are better when I use it. The quality of the old one was superb considering how many years it lasted, so I hope this one will be just as good.

Does a great job. Would give 5 stars if it wan't so loud and tips snapped in easier
Replaced my very old Water Pik (that was similar to the current cordless WP-580 model) with this one because I had to fill it twice to get around all teeth and the amount of water pressure had decreased over the years. I chose the Nano Plus model because it has 5 pressure settings, holds more water than the cordless ones, holds the same amount of water as, and takes up less room on the counter than the Aquarius and ION models, handle is a nice size, it's easy to clean, and also because of the reviews about the Aquarius having some mold issues due to its handle design. I don’t think that’ll be a problem with this one, as there's no rubber on the handle which is sealed, except of course where the tip snaps in at the top. It does have a good seal when the tip is attached correctly. More on that in a minute to address other reviews saying it leaks at that connection. Regarding water pressure, I used my old model on "High" which equates to about "3" on this model which is the pressure I use. 1 & 2 are very low pressure which should be helpful for those with sensitive gums or teeth, but I need to use more pressure to remove food particles from my bridgework, implant and a few deep pockets, and this does a good job removing food particles in those areas that are really hard to get to with floss and brushing. I no longer have to floss two or three times to get food particles out of these problem areas and I can definitely feel the water contacting areas under my gums that I’m unable to contact when I floss. I’m going to try the Pik-pocket tips for my deep pockets. After getting comfortable using it a few times, I can now get around the entire inside and outside of my teeth and spend a few extra seconds on my problem areas with one fill of the reservoir using the #3 pressure. A tip regarding handle leaks where the tip connects mentioned by other reviewers--I'm pretty sure it's because the tip isn't seated properly, which happened to me. You should hear a definite click when you push the tip in. One of the complaints I have about this model is that if you don't know you need to hear that click (and the literature doesn't mention it), you won't know it's not seated properly because it looks like it is, and you have to kind of wiggle it into place to snap it in properly. When properly seated, the tip will either be pointing to the front or the rear of the handle. The other complaint is that it is loud, but so was my previous one, so it's just something I've learned to put up with for better oral hygiene. The handle rotates around the plastic cord at the bottom so you can easily get to your back teeth. Though some reviews mention a tight cord that feels like it could jerk the handle out of your hand, I haven't had that problem. Those situations could be happening because the base is too far away from the sink and the user is having to stretch the cord too far. Regarding the kind of awkward placement of the on/off switch on the handle that some reviewers mention, if you do you back teeth first, then when you rotate the handle to do your front teeth, it’s less awkward to turn the handle off with your thumb. As some reviews mention it doesn't have a top for the reservoir, but I don't mind because you can put the reservoir upside down over the base when done which keeps dust and other bathroom particles out of the reservoir, and I like that it's compact in that position. The reservoir only covers the large motor part—it doesn’t cover the area where the handle, cord and tip are which is probably good so they can air dry. Overall I am pleased with how well it removes food particles from between my teeth and gums that aren’t removed with flossing and brushing.

Small and effective. Perfect for travellers
You should be aware that this is a small water pic. Exactly what I wanted to travel. My little one that came with my larger water pic, quit while arguing with European electricity. Had purchased one of the hand held ones and found it awkward to hold and use when it was full of water. This is a perfect size and fits in the little ones carry case. It does not have all the dials and adjustments of my larger water pic but it certainly does the job and it was significantly cheaper.
