Fantastic movie,brilliant underwater photography,if you are new to the 3d genre this is the one you should start off with, i have viewed a few 3d movies now on my 51 inch plasma but this movie is by far the best,crisp clear and very claustrophobic, you get right up close to the dive scenes and think you are amongst them,Based on a true story it tells the tale of a small group of cave divers in mexico exploring one of the biggest and unchartered cave there is, the group set off about this adventure with the usual 'this will we a stroll in the park' attitude, but when things start to go wrong this is when the movie really starts to shine.Fine cast,some dodgy lines and acting in parts but thats movies for you, on a whole 10/10 for the underwater photography and soundtrack.Going to watch this again but with the lights out... BUY IT NOWp.s comes complete in a 3 disc pack,3d,2d,and digital copy,cant get better than that.

EDIT////UPDATE :: Previously gave this movie 2 stars due to the 3D not working on my Playstation 3.3 months later I try again due to a firmware update, didn't work, "hmmmm" oh well *puts disc back in box*..............Oh My Goodness!!!! What is this? A third disc, where did that come from? Oh look the 3D version of the movie. :\Having only ever watched one other 3D movie (2D and 3D versions on the same disc) I presumed the same for this.So there it is, what a plonker I feel......And to end, the 3D in this movie is spectacular, too dark in places but apart from that amazing................PREVIOUS REVIEW - Bought this to watch in 3D on my PS3 but once I recieved it I found out that it is one of only a few movies that doesn't play in 3D on a Playstation 3.Wasted buy, not sure i'll even watch it in 2D tbh.

A nerve wrecking movie for people who are always optimistic. Because going deep into such a cave under water is looking for death indeed!!. The movie is based on true story, but I think this kind of exploration hobby is really suicidal!. But, having said that, I really enjoyed it. It has a good story and it manages the tension till the end. Excellent cast, but the 'son' of the leader can show more of his 'dislike' or 'hate' against his father. But, his acting is good enough to show the tension between him and his father.

I've seen loads of 3D movies and I can honestly say this is at the top of the list !The depth and detail is stunning. Obviously you need some half decent kit, but as long as it's obviously 3D compatible (I have an LG 55" passive 3D LCD TV) then it's great.As far as the film goes, it's pretty decent with some genuine gripping action, but as a whole, the 3D is the star.Very recommended.

Not only a good storyline, the 3D effects were awesome throughout the movie.Now it is in with my top favourites list of how a 3D movie should be made.Nothing at all to dislike.

I was disappointed to see this movie. It is not a film you wish to watch again. I have given it 2 stars for hard work gone in to creating the underwater scenes, other wise story is just crap. Do yourself a favour and save 2 hours of your life

Nice Packaging but the 3D aspect could have been done better. Certain parts of the 3D movie were blurry and I thought it was my eyes focussing wrongly- blinked several times, focussed elsewhere and back into the screen but still it is blurry. I thought it was me, but my wife had the same issues with the 3D of Sanctum. The 3D was not well done, blurry at times, but other than that, movie was ok.On further scrutiny, we noticed the blurry parts were concentrated on characters or items in the movie which where closer to us (from the perspective of the audience watching from the couch). Characters and items in the movie that were further away were sharp and the 3D is good.Great movie, but overall, I would suggest NOT getting the 3D version for this movie. The 2D version would be better due to the flaw in the 3D programming.

A very good film for 3d effects, we bought the film and didn't watch it for weeks.When we did watch it the disc froze about 3 1/4 way through. I got in touch with Amazon and they replaced it straight away, no hassle no quibble. A great film, a great service..highly recommend both film and Amazon.

This movie is one of those must see. Very exciting and you will find yourself holding your breath Very realistic and exciting

Lo consiglio fantastico

Vue sur un home cinema digne de ce nom. projecteur 3D grande toile et sound system qui envois du lourd.. J ai pris une claque! Les acteurs sont excellent et la mise en scene tres efficace. Le rythme est parfait. Tout est tres bien maitrisé. Le suspens est enorme. La 3D impressionnante rend l immersion dans les grottes souteraine d un realisme prodigieux qui rend les scenes tres oppressante.. La maitrise technique est parfaite car meme si le film se deroule a 80% dans des decors tres sombre il y a tout les details et les effets de profondeurs des grottes ce qui est tres rare car les films sombre ont souvent une 3D tres bof. On vit vraiment l aventure avec eux.. Ce Blue ray est INDISPENSABLE pour tout les personnes equipé d un home cinéma 3D
