How thick are the pintos? slightly like chip-dips, or more like play-doh? sticky like peanut butter? or a bit oily? smooth, or lots of chunks-skins?

It is kind of like Play-Doh. I sometimes add a bit of water as I heat it if I need it thinner. There are not a lot of chunks and discernable skins, but it isn't completely smooth.

Is the bag resealable

No; the bag must be cut or torn open to remove the refried beans.

how long do they store?

My packages are labeled "best by May 31 2022" but because this is shelf-stable packaging, I would expect them to last way longer than that.

Through internet searches could find other brands advertising BPA-free pouches but not Goya. Printing on the Goya pouches of refried beans I purchased does not mention "BPA-free". Maybe contact the company for more info?
