Ornare, the art of paper pricking comes to us from Holland. Ornare is quick and easy, but it produces delightful results. After positioning a project wrong-side up over a pricking mat, you use a needle to prick (or pierce) a design. You complete the design by poking the needle through a series of dots (printed on the project, from a project sheet, or through a pricking stencil. This produces a wonderful lace-like look. This is a craft that will be enjoyed by crafters of all ages. It does involve using a needle tool, so children should work under the close supervision of a parent. Adults will love it too.
