Ordered this in the common shiner pattern. Well made jig with excellent detail and solid hooks. Gave 4 stars because this is a 1/2oz jig. Other review said 3/16. Lure is about 2.5" long. There needs to be more clarification on lure size or an option to choose what weight you want.

If you love getting hooks in your lip, you'll love the taste of this minnow jig. Well made and great realistic look. Makes a great earring for Burning Man and I hear they catch fish too. Be careful using these on a kayak because with all the hook vectors it will catch on everything. Expect to be hooked to your landing net, pants, glove, sock, rope lines, hand and walleye at the same time more than once.

I recently purchased the smaller version of this lure in the Jack pattern and was very impressed with the quality of the lure, so much so that I wanted to have the larger version as well for lake trout ice fishing 60-100 ft. I purchased this lure with high expectations however when it arrived I thought I was sent the wrong pattern because it looks nothing like the product image. The Jack pattern looks exactly as shown but the Rainbow Trout I received is very dark in color to the point where you can barely see the pattern or pink stripe that Rainbow Trout are known for; it instead looks more like a young Bass or Perch. I took pictures of both lures in the same lighting as well as pictures of how the product is shown. I would have given this product 5 stars but I was really expecting to receive something that looks like the product image, the rainbow trout pattern wont even be distinguishable in low light 60 ft. below the ice. Some may say this is being finicky however it kind of bummed me out to be honest, makes me wish I had picked a different pattern that actually looks as shown even though Rainbow Trout would have been perfect...
