Best brisket rub out there
This is the second bottle of Killer Hogs TX Brisket rub. The entire family goes crazy over the flavor. It provides great flavor, not overly salty, and makes a wonderful bark. It doesn’t add any heat level, so it’s great for everyone.

Steak and brisket
This stuff is great. I use it for brisket and steaks. It gets a good bark and flavor on brisket and it’s versatile enough for steaks. Like most rubs it’s on the saltier side, but about the same as a Montreal steak seasoning.

Great Rub for Brisket
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I chose this rub as a replacement for the now defunct Oak Ridge BBQ rub called "Black Ops" that was exceptional on brisket, based on some online reviews I saw. It turns out it is a near-perfect replacement. Exceptional flavor, good but not too much salt, and builds up a great bark on Brisket, short rib racks, and the like. Great stuff.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Tasty rub and now my go-to for brisket. Salt and pepper taste with a little flair.

Good flavor, salt forward.
I needed a rub for a brisket and this is what I came across. I found it to have a great flavor but the brisket turned out a little salty for my taste. I went heavy with the application and if I were to use this rub again, I would cut the coverage in half. I may or may not use this rub again.

The Rub That Beats All Rubs
I bought a new pellet smoker and wanted to smoke a brisket. Searched and read many different brands and reviews, finally settling on this rub. Great decision; brisket turned out PERFECT and flavor was incredible. This will be my only rub.
