BUDGET CUTS ....
This Neck Knife 🔪 Do Have It's Uses. Being Small Compact & Light Weight . Easy To Carry, Has Great Sheath Retention Won't Fall Out When You Carry It . Sharp But Not Razor Sharp. Nothing You Can Fix. Double Edged if. One Side Gets Dull You can Use The Other Side. I Replaced The Beaded Chain With A Black Paracord, Much Stronger & Reliable Than the Chain. This Knife 🔪 Can be Used For Small Tasks. Cutting Rope, Opening Boxes , Envelopes, Peeling Fruits, I Even Use It As A Steak Knife 🔪. Not Meant For Prying Things. Blade is on The Thin Side. Also Very Affordable . Even Cheaper If You Have Amazon Prime . 2-Day Delivery, No Shipping Charges. Gave it 4 Star's 🌟. Not Because is Not Good 👍 But It Should Have Came With A Paracord Instead Of The Beaded Chain . It's Very Flimsy. Overall For The Price & Uses You Won't Feel That you've Been Cheated. You'll have this knife for A While Unless You Lose It Or Gets Stolen...

Sharp.
It's a little larger than I had intended, but that's not a problem. After I put the stone to it, it is very sharp and holds a good edge. It's very sharp. Nice.

for the price you cant go wrong
The handle is too thin. I needed to use some tape to thicken it up and after a few passes with a sharpener its well worth the money

Just because it's cheap, doesn't mean it's junk.
Asides from the actual necklace chain itself, this is great. I use it all the time, and it still works as good as new. It's made out of mt-20-14, which I haven't been able to fully verify the chemical composition. I assume it's mtech's unique alloy, which could be 0.2% carbon, 14% chromium, and possibly some other elements as well. Maybe I'm wrong, but 2% carbon is impossible to do given our current level of technology, if it was I doubt it would cost $7. Not that I'm complaining. Low carbon steel is good for durability for small knives. If it was a long sword blade, it would likely have a bit of flexibility, however this 1 1/2" blade isn't bending easily. Also the case holds this knife very securely. I've had a few fall out of the holster while around my neck, including a $20+ Kershaw necklace knife, which was rather disappointing. In fact, that's exactly why the necklace chain broke. If you're going to release this blade, use two hands, if you just yank at it while it's around your neck, your going to break the chain. As long as you keep that in mind, or get a much more durable chain, this will last you forever. With inflation, it might cost more than $7 now, still totally worth it. I cut through a plastic box stap, while near a metal support pillar at a factory I've worked at, put I little too much effort into it and struck the pillar, hardly a scratch on the blade, yet it actually sliced through the pillar! High carbon steel would shatter from something like that. The right tool for the right job. I collect tons of knives and swords, and this is the knife I actually use regularly.
