Best flavored espresso without any off taste or smell
I generally dislike flavored coffees. This one just tastes rich and wonderful. There’s no chemical smell/taste/aftertaste. It’s also not sweet; just yummy coffee goodness. If you're looking for a distinctive caramel flavor, though, it's really not there. I couple the Caramelito with latté-like milk/foam and it really is perfect. I find that it tastes somewhat sweet without adding any sugar. I have to control myself and drink only one each morning or I get too wired! I don’t like that the coffee pods are so expensive. I’m in favor of the idea that Nespresso gives you the opportunity to recycle your pods. The long, thin rectangular box doesn’t seem to be overboard in terms of packaging, so that’s cool. . I don’t think the box is made of recycled materials, however, and there isn’t even a clear recycling sign on the package, although I do break them down and put them in the recycle anyway. I hope they’re recyclable! They do come in a fairly large brown box filled with a good amount of brown paper. It seems excessive until you notice that some of the ends of the boxes end up getting crushed. Sometimes even the coffee pods get a little squished. I wonder if there’s a better way to pack and ship these that’s easier on the environment and that does actually protect the product? I know Nespresso isn’t exactly known for its sustainable practices. I do love their Carmelito espresso, though.

Absolutely delicious, luxury espresso
I made an unintentional ristretto (short shot) by selecting the smallest cup size on a new machine at work and it was an unforgettable experience. It was far superior to anything I've had out of my superautomatic esspresso machine at home. I worked at Starbucks for 5 years back in the days of handcrafted espresso (still waiting on a Reserve Bar to come to my town) and have been addicted to coffee ever since. I think it may help to explain my background with coffee because It speaks to how impressed I was with this Nespresso product. Still, I do not consider myself a coffee snob. I'll buy the cheapest whole bean I can find to get me through a month at home sometimes (less than $0.08 per shot). Yes, it came from an Amazon partner very quickly and without complication. The flavor, though, is the star here. I could drink this without sugar or cream. It was smooth and rich. The higher darkness of Nespresso Kazaar comes with a dark chocolate kind of bitter that, while nice, was not present in the Dharkan helping me to like it much more. I'm considering a Nespresso machine for home if my home espresso machine breaks or I win the lottery. In the meantime, I'll settle for expensive work coffee ($1 per shot at the price I paid). I recently read an opinion piece that said you should settle for crappy coffee more often so you can still be pleasantly surprised with quality. If you subscribe to this theory you might want to avoid Dharkan.

From not a coffee drinker, to a coffee lover!
I have literally hated coffee all my life. It tastes bad to me, which is why I'm a green tea drinker instead.Well, I recently moved and selected a close-by salon to do my hair, and when I went there, they offered me a complimentary cappuccino. I took it because it was free and I needed the caffeine that day. It was so good, I mean soooo good that I had to ask them what kind it was. I was told it was a cappuchino and the brand was Nespresso's Ristretto. That day, I learned not only do I not like regular coffee, but I like cappucchinos, and not made with just any kind of coffee - quality matters (as it does in green tea selection, too) - but with Nespresso's Ristretto. I highly recommend, especially if you have always hated the taste of coffee. This brand might change your mind. Before having this variety, if I ever drank regular coffee, I would always add lots of milk and sugar to mask the flavor, but with Ristretto, the flavor is good. I use minimal sugar, so it's only slightly sweet, and I use the recommended amount of milk to make a cappucchino. There is no nasty after-taste with this brand either, which I usually get when I drink ordinary coffee. Just wanted to mention that. One last thing, I went and bought a machine by Nespresso so I could make these cappucchinos, and don't think about using the capsules in another machine, it won't work. They are much smaller than the regular K-cups and have differently shaped bottoms.

Subtle, natural-tasting flavors enhance each cup
Nespresso pods offer a premium espresso experience, right in the comfort of your own kitchen or office. This 30-pack flavored variety is a great way to experience the velvety crema of your Nespresso machine, with hints of flavor that bring a nice nuance to your espresso. Subtle flavor permeates each cup, enhancing and not overpowering the natural nuances in the espresso.I've found that most flavored coffees, including those from pods, smell great, but have a strange, artificial flavor or aftertaste. This is not the case with these Nespresso "sweet" flavors packs. They have a natural flavor essence, without any strange or chemical aftertaste. You get 10 each of the Caramel, Chocolate and Vanilla varieties, which will appeal to a wide array of espresso lovers. Create the perfect flavored latte or cappuccino by using Nespresso's Aeroccino Plus milk frother.Contrary to the product name, these pods are NOT sweet, so add your own sweetener to taste. I find a little sugar and cream absolutely brings out the flavors. I find natural sugar is the best here, but "black", they are also enjoyable.Try something even more interesting by brewing one each of vanilla and caramel to create a blend of flavors that is warm, comforting, and a great way to feel like you've had a guilt-free treat. Or, have an "egg cream coffee" and brew and vanilla and chocolate and add some cream and sugar! YUM!
