11+ Confidence: CEM-style Practice Exam Papers Book 3: Complete with answers and full explanations

Good practice books.

I bought this for my son’s 11+ but he didn’t like this book because it's too hard (it made him cry). He is very dissapoint himself using this book, so I've put it in the bin. However he had no complaints doing any other books I bought for him like, 11+ Essentials book series, Schofield & Sims mental arithmetic book series and some CGP books. He has passed his 11 plus exam with very high marks. I don't recommend this book unless your kid find that all the other books are too easy.Hope this review is helpful at least a little bit :)

This book is useful however I have only given it four stars because it does not actually contain much material on each page unlike cgp and Schofield and Sims books which I find are much better value for money as they pack in a lot of activities on each page. I would use this book as an add-on not as a main source of preparation

2 short 45 minute tests. I thought this was the same as the CGP papers that have 2 tests with 2 papers each, but unfortunately not. Also, sections are not divided up into small time slots. VR, numeracy and NVR all lumped together in the 45 mins.

I was deceived into buying this book. It is the same title, publishing house, colour, book number as the book that contains 4 papers, but it contains only 2. What is the point?!

Highly recommended CEM Book for 11 plus preparation / eaxam.
