Really warm reverb
I got the reverb pedal. You won’t believe how good this sounds. But, the LED on my first one went out and on my second one the light sometimes doesn’t work. For this price, I expect the manufacturing to have imperfections. It seems like this company invested a lot more in the design than the manufacturing. I’m just amazed at how good it makes my Moog Minitaur sound. Once I hooked up a power supply, then I didn't really need the LED to work, because the main benefit to having a light is saving your battery. Otherwise it's obvious when it's on by the sound. All that said, if the rest of their pedals are this good, I just might have to get more of them...and all I needed was reverb. My buddies who play guitar were telling me they tried so many reverb pedals before getting one that was quality. When they heard this cheap Chinese pedal, they could not believe their ears and they were jealous because once again I found an unbelievable deal through Amazon.I have now had this reverb for I think maybe around a year, and I still feel it is totally fantastic. Unlike some reviewers, I do not like the pedal's appearance. Luckily, the pedal is cheap, so I had no reservations painting it (a special color called silver-black). I also swapped out the cream colored knobs for some clear ones, and I added a clear Mooer Shroom button cap. The LED is so bright that these things clear parts do not even have to have a light under them for the LED to make the knobs have a little glow from the audience perspective.I have heard a lot of people grouching or commenting on the tone switch. I don't know why people are confused. That switch is there so that you have the option of still having some wetness in your signal when the knobs are turned to zero (setting A). For me, I switch to setting B when I'm using a smaller room reverb, and A when I want to wash away my sound in the maximum amount of reverb. Since I use this on a Moog with a broad tone range, I utilize the full spectrum of this pedal's settings, except the spring reverb, which ironically seems to be this pedal's most popular feature for guitarists. I think at my gig this weekend I'm going dive into that setting.I would like to hear more people compare this to it's competitors, because I have to admit this is the only guitar reverb pedal I have ever used. I hace a vocal reverb by TC Helicon which is OK but very cold and digital sounding compared to this.

The X Drive A Work of Genius and The Worst Idea Ever
I alternate between thinking this is the greatest idea in the world and the absolute worst idea in the world. The genius of the device is simple; you make a Tube Screamer, ad a few extras that are typical of the modding community and then make it so that you can swap out the ever important chip from between three different models. No funny switches or weirdness; it's all about hardware and being able to get down to the very basics.Where it goes horribly wrong is that chips are not rugged modules that are intended to be installed and re-installed many times, as is the habit of tinkerers. Removing them and putting them back isn't done by any special apparatus; it's the actual socket which wear and tear is going to be a factor. Additionally the chips are fragile, the legs bend and getting them lined up right after they've been removed is a serious hassle. With that said as a studio device the X-Drive is an irreplaceable piece of hardware. You want the TS9? You want the TS808? It's all right there. But to mount it on a pedal board where it'll get bounced around and the chip could fall out because the socket has wear and tear on it? Yeah, not so much. With that said it's an amazing pedal for an amazing price that has stopped me from buying Tube Screamers, tinkering with them and then selling them off for the next Tube Screamer that has that one feature I couldn't live without. And for that it's worth every penny. But like I said, I would never mount it to a board and gig with it unless I could find a way to secure the chip in the socket better.

Great sound, great price
This is a great reverb pedal for this price. I haven't tried out others around the same price, so I can't say it's the best, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is.Construction is very sturdy: metal case all around; solid, smooth knobs; solid footswitch. The little switches feel a slightly flimsy, but they're completely protected between the knobs, so they'll be fine.Hall setting is a nice hall reverb with (I think) a little modulation to give it some richness. Decay ranges from 0 to about 4.5 sec.Spring setting is not very springy. In fact I would call it less of a spring reverb and more like another hall that's a little lighter and clearer, with a little less decay—from 0 to about 3.5 sec.Room setting is a nice warm room reverb, pretty standard. Decay ranges from 0 to about 2.5 sec.A/B switch is where it gets interesting: rather than changing the tone as you'd expect, it actually changes the function of the time knob. On the B setting, the time knob changes the decay time, but on the A setting, the decay time is set and the time knob changes the amount of signal sent to the reverb (on the hall setting, the decay time is set to about 6 seconds, spring to about 3 seconds, and room to about 2 seconds). You can actually send the reverb into distortion pretty easily on the A setting, depending on the level of your input signal, so you have to be careful, but on this setting (especially on hall) you can get some excellent full-wet sounds. Some notes: Since this is basically a little computer of sorts, you have to be careful when turning it off and on again (by unplugging the input and plugging it back in), making sure you give it about 15 seconds before turning it back on, otherwise it can sometimes just not work or make nasty sounds. Also I would recommend getting a power adapter for it instead of using batteries, because it tends to get finicky as the battery runs out.Overall I would recommend this pedal.

Great pedal
Got this for my pedal board after looking around I went for this one as the others were out of my budget for now.The case is made out of metal so it's pretty solid ,strong and durable and should last for a long timeWorks well dose what it's supposed to doIt has three different settings hall, spring and room it also has blend and time selectorThe foot switch takes a bit off a stomp to activate the pedal but that could because it's new.It has two inputs and outputs A/BFor powering it takes Dc 9v 200am or a heavy duty 9v battery I am using the battery option until I wire it up to the pedal power box with a current draw double cable since my pedal power dose not have a 200am option. The battery compartment was awkward to open and is not great if you want to Velcro down the pedal also the rubber feet are tricky to remove in order to Velcro the bottom of the pedalHow ever I would definitely buy it again

So good I bought two - and recommend it to everybody I know
I bought this for those times when I need a good dab of clear, lucid reverb. It's perfect for that - so much so that I've been recommending it to other musicians, and I bought a second one as a backup. As other reviewers have said, you need to choose the right setting on the two position switch, but when you've done that the knobs give a good range of useful settings.I own several reverbs, including Lexicon and Electro-Harmonix. The Lexicons are brilliant, but they're better at more complex treatments and aren't transparent enough for those small dabs of reverb that are all important sometimes. Having bought the Biyang I was able to sell the more expensive EH Cathedral reverb, which isn't as good on clear reverb and doesn't equal my two Lexicon models on more complex treatments.Whoever designed this Biyang reverb got it just right. And at the price, it's simply superb.

Punches well above its weight
I've been searching for a good but budget friendly reverb for about a year and all the usual suspects have been disappointing, especially in terms of robbing my tone of high end frequencies. I'm very happy that I gave this pedal a shot - convinced to do so by a YouTube video comparing the hall reverb to that on the Strymon Big Sky - it did not suffer by comparison. It is vastly superior to every reverb in this price bracket - and also those that cost more than twice as much that I have tried. I don't need anything fancy and this pedal fits the bill perfectly. It has exceeded my expectations and I'm very happy with it - in case you hadn't guessed.

Don't hesitate!
This would be a seriously good reverb pedal at any price, but at this price, it's a steal!Great variety of adjustment to the reverb, both in terms of type (room, hall etc) and also mix, from a subtle hint, so as to just add a bit of depth to the sound, through to full silliness (almost like Peter Green's 'Supernatural' sound)Absolutely solidly built from aluminium (yes, aluminium!) not plasticky at all (which I expected)If, like me, you need reverb but can't justify the silly prices of other makes, then don't hesitate to get this oneOh, and it looks great as well!I suspect it might be hard on batteries, although I haven't had mine long enough to be sure, but it makes more sense to use pedals with mains anyway, (IMHO) cheaper in the long run and won't suddenly give up half-way through a gig.Ten stars out of five for this one!

Stunning sounds
Got this pedal to use with my volca keys and bass. They sound absolutely stunning - reverb isn’t over the top and really softens the sounds from the volcas, perfect for creating nice ambient sounds. Also great for softening the sound from pocket operators. Pedal does absolutely eat batteries so make sure you use a power supply!
