VencoCoin Shaped Licorice 5.9 Oz (Pack of 2)

Dutch girl here. The BEST licorice, if you're a licorice lover.

I really really like this licorice. Its not as sweet as some, and not as soft as some, but that's why I like it. It's sweet enough and chewy. I've been watching my bad eating behavior and find this satisfies my sweetness craving fabulously. it's my overall favorite licorice.

Just a tad salty. Delicious Dutch licorice. For those who mentioned it tastes off, gross, bla bla: it's not supposed to taste like your usual American style black licorice (ie Twizzlers). This is more of an acquired taste I suppose. Yes, it's weird at first but grows on you big time haha!

For those with occasional heartburn / acid / indigestion these are an excellent natural remedy. I used to reach for the OTC antacids when I had heartburn but a friend suggested these, specifically.....I haven't used an antacid since I purchased these! If you have chronic stomach issues they may not help but it wouldn't hurt to try? We used to be a society that increasingly emphasized all-natural remedies but for the past 2 years this has been often frowned upon with certain "issues"..... Time to get back to it.... This is a great start!!

It's genuine Venco Dutch drop with real licorice root instead of brown sugar and anise. I love the taste and it soothes my stomach and slightly raises my low blood pressure so it's a triple win for me. Product arrived fresh and in good condition.

There is an underlying, putrid, off-putting taste and smell. I love black licorice of all kinds, but this one is gross. Even after I touched the licorice, I could smell the stinky remnants on my fingers. I started to wonder if they put some sort of manure or something in the ingredients. Never again!

venco was top of the one along with Kruidvaat which was just a little bit cheaper when I lived in Holland. If I have Dutch friends coming to America, I always ask to bring some.

Have tried literally all the Venco black licorice available on Amazon and this is the only one that stinks like old azzz shoes or just yuck lol… if u can get past the smell and shove one in ur mouth it tastes fine but the smell of it is just terrible
