I read the reviews before purchasing this toaster in 2020 and they were varied. I have never had a problem with the toaster, it does a great job and has never let me down. Perfect

works goodnot most even toast through out but does the jobthe croissant toasting feature is great

This toaster is slim and sleek looking. You will need to put it on at least four times without bread to get rid of residue, has a strong smell but after that the smell goes away. The instructions informs you of that. Other than that toast very well does a great job. Love the extension for crossaints. Good value for money. Would recommend.

I received the toaster, and immediately unpacked, and read the instructions, which said to put it on 7 and run several times to burn off oils etc as it was new. The first time I put down the lever I noticed it didn't "latch" correctly ... but hey I'm sure it'll be OK. Second time same thing ... third time no go. The lever would not stay down and the toaster was useless ... didn't even get to toasting anything, it failed during the setup! In addition as the lever was hard to push down, the cheap plastic handle was also working loose.I would NOT recommend buying this toaster, its just very poor quality. In hindsight, perhaps spending £80 on a well know brand name would have been better.Being returned to Amazon, within 2 hours of receiving it !!

Bought this as a cheap replacement for a long serving toaster which eventually died. This taste feels flimsy (racks are very poor) and the temperature is very hard to control which results in frequent burning. I actually think this is too high powered and as a result burns specific parts of the toast. It would be better if it was slightly gentler and browned more evenly.Given my change again, I would spend a bit more money, get something stronger and more effective at toasting without incinerating.

Arrived promptly next day. Exactly what I was looking for. Wide, long Slots . Perfect for Toasting my home made Baguettes without the need to cutting them short. Love the heating rack and the controls are spot on as well - although- careful with the higher settings ! They are very powerful and some practise and tests about the level of browning required . Not sure if you can get it in white , which would have been nice as well. All in , great product and comes highly recommended from me.

The main selling point for me was the extra long slots for bread and this toaster does that well. The slots can comfortably hold for slices of standard sliced bread without a problem.Sadly the main issue I have is with the toasting. It’s a very uneven toast with some parts burning quickly and some parts barely even browning.It works best on a low setting and when you cancel the toast a few times to take them out and flip them over to try and even the toast. Not idea really.

Lovely, easy to use toaster. Toasts evenly and the same each time. I wanted long slots specifically for sour dough bread but it easily fits 4 ordinary slices.
