UPDATE Sept 2023 I'm still using the Miracle-Gro Indoor Plant Spikes on all my plants and they're doing so well that I ended up having to hack off some of the vines and leaves to propagate them. This really is a great no-fuss way to fertilize your indoor houseplants and it takes so little effort that it's one of the few items I reorder every few months automatically. I regularly purchase these Miracle-Gro Spikes, and depending on the price at the time, I either buy this pack or the larger pack of 48 spikes ( Miracle-Gro Indoor Plant Food, 48-Spikes ). Below is my review for these spikes (copied from the review I wrote for the larger pack in 2015 including my recent update & picture): I swear by these plant food spikes!!! The package says they are for indoor plants, but I actually use them for all of my outdoor plants, especially my herbs. I first tried these after planting some basil and other herbs that seemed to be taking an eternity to grow. I went to a local home improvement store and searched the garden center for plant food but many of them were priced much higher than I was willing to spend until I found these spikes. I figured I'd give them a try since they were so inexpensive and wow!!!!! Within just a few days, my plants had grown more than double what they had grown in the previous several weeks!! One of my friends (who also enjoys gardening) came over to my house and was in awe of how big and healthy all of my herbs were. When I told her about these spikes, she went straight from my house to purchase some and had the exact same growth results. I now keep at least one extra pack of these on hand stored in a ziplock bag to protect from any water/weather damage, and I add new spikes about once every 6-8wks to my plants. I now use these "plant steroid sticks" (as my boyfriends refers to them as) in all of my plants -- they worked great in my tomato plants this summer, too! These spikes are a must for anyone wanted big, beautiful healthy plants!!! **UPDATE -- 4/20/16** I am still using and LOVING these spikes. I started working on getting my garden ready for the year this past Monday (4/18), and when I pulled one of the planters out of the garage that sat all winter, I was very surprised to see little mint buds that were still alive despite the freezing, harsh Erie, PA winter. I was so excited about the discovery that I took a picture to show my boyfriend not really thinking much else of it. I planted my new mint plant in the center of the planter pot, popped a few of these spikes in the dirt and continued working on my garden boxes. The next day (4/19), I went outside to continue working and was absolutely SHOCKED at how much the little mint buds had grown over night!!! After making sure that I still had the picture from the previous evening on my phone, I took a second picture so that I could show a side-by-side comparison. (I took screenshots of the pictures on my phone rather than directly uploading them to show the days/times.) These little "steroid spikes" truly are miraculous!!! :)

i had issues with the order delivery. I was unable to contact the shipping company so i raised this with seller and asked for help. They responded immediately and helped me reach out to shipping company and clarify the shipping. I then received my order swiftly within 24 hours. When the order arrived, I used the plant food spikes immediately, and just after 2 hours, i was able to see my plants revitalizing (leaves/stems hanging much higher and firmer). It's as if the plants woke up from sleep. i was very impressed and would recommend the product.

So far so good with my small to medium plants! Depending the size of your plant is what will determine if you think these are worthy or not. You need to have a few of them for larger pots, so if you have smaller pots then you don't need to use too many. To use you simply poke them into your soil and water! If your plant doesnt like it then you can remove the spike (but it will be a little goopy after wet). I was going to get granules instead but they were out of stock and I got these.
