These rugs are probably not for everyone, but I like them. They are pretty, but not very soft or plush. However for my multi-dog household they are exactly what I needed. They protect my new floors, give the dogs some traction when they're running around, and actually the dog hair vacuums up really well (I have a German Shepherd who sheds like a fiend and my house requires vacuuming at least every other day). A plus side to the lack of plush-ness is that the dogs haven't snagged it with their nails or nylabones. Love that they come with rubber backing, although I did add a rug pad that I already had, just for some extra padding. They do shift around a bit, especially with the aforementioned dog-running, but overall I'm very pleased - and you can't beat the price.

I was looking for carpet runners for high traffic areas to help keep the rest of my carpets looking clean. These rugs work great for that purpose. Rugs are thin, yes, but that is a feature so that they can be placed on existing carpet in front of doors and the door will not be blocked by the rug. In my house this works about 95% well. The rugs have a finishing edge, that edge is a tiny bit higher than the rest of the rug; once the door clears that little bit, we can easily push open the door without concern. We have this situation with one door, on another door we have no issue at all.Others customers have complained about rug falling apart in the washing machine. There is a simple fix for that: don't put them in the washing machine! These rugs were not designed to be washed that way, as explained in the product description on Amazon. If you have a strong need to be able to do that with a rug, then don't buy this one. These rugs should be wiped down with a wet cloth, as needed; for me, that is easy enough to do, and it occurs to me that I will save a lot of water by doing so.Other customers have complained about the rug moving. There is a thin rubber backing, which is both a pro and a con. It is a pro because it allows the rug to be put in a doorway without blocking the door, it is a con when the rug is used on a carpet because the rug will move a bit. In my house of two adults, the movement is not so noticeable. In a house of kids and/or animals, more movement would be expected. IMHO, if movement is a problem, it could be fixed by attaching more rubber gripping to the back of the mat in certain strategic places, such as the corners and a few points along the edge.I love the design of this rug and how it works with other furniture in the room. I can walk on it comfortably with bare feet. I originally thought I would take up these runners when guests come to visit, but increasingly I'm thinking that they are pretty enough that I might just keep them down because they add a bit to the style of the room. I think the price is pretty good for the value this rug provides to me. Overall, I am very happy to have found and purchased this rug.

Perfect runner size, I needed a "wide" runner for our walkway between the dining and living rooms. For some reason I can only find the narrow 19 inch runners that slip and slide even with rug tape. The non-skid certainly works on this brand, our rug is in a heavy traffic area and its never moved once. I'm ordering another one for my kitchen.The color is more of a teal than green, it matches perfectly with our 8x10 teal and gold living room rug. I wish I'd known about these rugs or this brand before I spent $150 on my living room rug and another $80 for the non-slip padding.

I wanted a runner rug for our well used hallway to help protect the carpet and add some nice decoration. I hadn't bothered to measure the hall but was pleased to discover the rug fit the length of the hallway perfectly! There was no damage to the product on arrival and the colors are even more rich and pleasing than it shows in the pictures. I've vacuumed over it twice with no negative results. The only annoyance is that it does shift around a bit when walked over so I have to straighten it out couple times a day but that's pretty common with most rugs and easily fixed with a few velcro strips. I will buy another one in a different size for the living area. Great rug for a reasonable price!

I received 2 of the Ottomanson Ottohome Collection Contemporary Leaves Design Non-Skid Rubber Backing Area Rug, 3'3" X 5', in Seafoam. I need the non slip surface now so I can't send the rugs back. For the most part the rugs will serve their purpose; however I feel they should be marked as IRREGULAR. One of the rugs has a shaded area running the length of the rug and the other has what appears to be a colored depression the size of a coffee cup. These rugs somehow made it through inspection. Disapointed!!!

I don't review everything I buy from Amazon because I would be at it all day everyday. And because Amazon is so convenient, sometimes I order online when it would be better to just go out to the local retailer. I thought this rug might be one of those things. That's why I'm here to do this review. This was a great purchase. Most of the rugs I saw here were at least 3 times more expensive than this one. I definitely didn't want one of those coco fiber rugs that shed. And I was highly skeptical about the quality I might get from a $10 rug. I was glad I bought it. It's a soft low pile with a soft rubber backing. The colors are nice and the "chocolate" description is accurate. I bought it to place in front of some double doors under the overhang of a wrap around porch. It could get wet occasionally if the rain comes in a certain way. And I hope the air underneath doesn't lift it up and blow it off the porch. But I'm sure I can launder this rug and it will look just like new for years to come.

Love this rug! Its easy to lay flat, good to vacum and pretty! We bought another one for under our kitchen table. They go beautifully with our hardwood floors!

Some carpet will move around and could be dangerous but this one is the safe one it feels like it stick to the floor so it won’t move around. The quality is okay. But man it took A while to arrive.

Great rug lovely colours well made

This is perfect for my puppy who loves to lay half in front of and under my dresser. I needed something soft enough to protect against the hard tile floor that also would stay in place because what I had there wasn’t doing the job. She also loves to lay partially underneath and with my dresser having wheels I needed both a grip on the bottom of the rug as well as something to keep the wheels from always rolling out. This also makes cleaning up her dog fur much easier because now I can vacuum easily. And it’s perfect match for her black/brindle colouring as well as matches the colour scheme of my bedroom perfectly!I’m planning on ordering some other sizes as well.Two of three of these rugs just arrived and even my dog loves them all!Three of three just arrived today as well. I’m not sure who is happier...my dog or me! Hahah!
