I have a hoist cable system and it fits fine. Sits on top of weight stack

can this be used with the golds gym platinum tower?

It fits at least two gym sets that I know of. It appears that weight configurations may be standardized.

Will this fit a Marcy 1101 home gym?

I have a Macy gym similar to MWM-988, but it does not fit. The guide poles are a little too close together to get it to sit properly. However, it can sit on it's side, on the stack, and work fine. It probably won't fall off unless there is a ton of movement on the machine.
