This is perfect. It is a well made sturdy piece of equipment with some useful extras. It has an easily read full colour screen, Google maps, travel advisor and translator. For the last item it comes with two microphones to easily pick up two people having a mixed language conversation whilst lying on a table between them. Audio output is clear and controlled by a volume button. The virtual SIM is useful if your physical SIM card runs out of data although the price of the data for this is ridiculously high. I use the Sipercharged ‘3’ data cards from Amazon which cover a large number of countries including the Channel Islands where I live and costs £15 for 20Gb, that’s a good price. It works wherever you are able to use your mobile phone and runs on 4G if it’s available. I’ve not travelled with it yet but when our home broadband gets overloaded or just fails to work I use this. It’s much faster both down and uploading than my landline broadband. In fact for music teachers it can upload your music videos to the exam boards with ease, which is why I bought it in the first place.

Excellent product! Great technical support. All questions answered through online chat. Bought for use in USA and works in less well known areas. Good download speeds. Registered for use in US rather than UK as deals are better and cheaper in US dollars than GBP.

Rubbish. Don’t bother. Never has a signal. Always says it’s out of range. The app is terrible. No customer support.

Good performer and the large touch screen display raises it above the competition.

Why can’t I change the language on other apps . It’s all in Chinese & you can’t change it . So you can’t use travel GPT ext ext . It spoils it

The item works well in uk and abroad

Used it in Italy, China and Greece so far and its great fir travel. Russia seems blocked currently so that may be an issue.....politics shouldn't impact on this type device

I upgraded to this device from the cheaper, more basic model. Used it in Australia, US and Asia without issues. Data packages could be a little cheaper in some regions but never had an issue. Always a great signal, reasonable speed and it was helpful to be able to see remaining data on the screen.

The set up is very easy with this product and works great. I’m using it in a building that has one bar of service and speed is good. Would recommend.

Bought for the cottage where we have limited LTE in rural PEI. Was a last ditch effort as two local internet providers couldn’t get a signal for service. Have 3 LTE bars and decent browsing speeds with this device. Like the fact we can buy data without a contract so when we’re not here, we’re not paying. Although more expensive per use, cheaper in the long run.

Simply Amazing device easy easy setup in two second I’m always waiting for something not to work or hard to setup but for Canada it was two seconds either add a SIM card or subscribe to their cheap package which I chose as I don’t want to burn my phone data with a sim . If you want wifi anywhere like rv or cottage this is your device AAA

I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this at first due to concerns over the application but you can do everything through the website as well, which was very good as I believe the app was removed from the play-store temporarily at this point in time (and the one similar app from company didn't work on my Samsung S8). Payments can be done with Paypal and other methods instead of just direct CC. I used this device recently on an 8 hour vehicle journey with google maps and it performed flawlessly, which was great for mounting to the dash without fear of drop/breaking the device (reason why I don't mount my phone due to how expensive it would be if broken). Wifi distance for hotspot seems to be very reasonable and performs as well as any ISP rental router would. Speed naturally varies but was incredibly quick in central Canada (can watch Netflix but watch data usage if not on low quality). Purchased a 36 gig NA package good for 1 year for $155 CAD which is great considering the broad area of availability with no hassles or contracts. Company provides discounts and specials on data packages throughout the year to help save a buck or two. I particularly like this 'G4' iterations screen for both google map function and nearly instant feedback for data consumption.
