Great way to add stability to a loaded vehicle.
Absolutely love the Timbren HROD2 suspension assists for our 2008 Honda Pilot. The ride is really no different than stock when I’m un-loaded but much improved with a load. (That’s the beauty of the design) They require no attention and just do the job when needed. I installed these in an evening, and really was surprised at the ease of installation, it took some effort but wasn’t that bad to do.Buy these and don’t waste your time with the air bag suspension assists. I tried the adjustable air bags first, since they were cheaper and was disappointed, one side leaked slowly and was a pain to keep filling, so I replaced the air bags with these rubber assists. I’ve been pleased with the performance especially when I load the vehicle with passengers and gear or pull a trailer. They work great.

Turned my Honda Minivan into a reliable tower!
I tow a 2,000 lb camper trailer with my 2016 Honda Odessey. The OEM suspension got it done for two summers, but not great, and always a little bit uncomfortably so. We were between upgrading the mini-van to a proper towing vehicle, and this. I researched these (together with a 2" lift), and installed both at the same time. I noticed the benefit IMEADIATELTY on the next trip. It didn't change the normal driving, but when towing, the difference is very noticeable. The back sits higher, and in general, the vehicle just feels more confident when driving. I'm no longer considering a typical towing vehicle - in my opinion, it's that good. Take that with a grain of salt though, since I installed this with a 2" lift package (another product).Mechanic said it was really easy to go on, if your doing this, just time this to install with a tire rotation.

It is really worth it
At first I was very hesitant to install it but after putting it on and one time I accidently ran on some potholes, usually I would hear clanging or o hard thud but with this new equipment my Van handled it pretty awesome.

Great product! Simple and reasonably priced!
The have greatly improved my Honda Odyssey’s driving characteristics. The body roll of a loaded van has gone away. It definitely improves the safety of a loaded car. Product does everything it states. I would totally take these over airbags do to their simple design and the fact they do require maintenance or adjustments.

Awesome for 2013 Honda Pilot
For the install: Jacked up rear of vehicle. Took off rear wheels and started to mark spring location and spring cups with a grease pencil or sharpie. Mark top and bottom of spring, and spring cups to the lower A-arm and upper spring mount for good measure. I used a spring compressor and compressed springs slightly. Disconnected torsion bar link, shock, and compressed spring more. Once spring was not putting tension on lower A-arm I disconnected A-arm. I did not remove the springs but made sure my spring compressor had a good bite on the springs. Had another person hold up spring and used a 6 point socket ( #13 or 14. Can’t remember) Used 6 inch extension on ratchet and took of old bump stop. I gained access below the spring the other person was holding up. Being careful I slid out the old bump stop below the spring.I know all mechanics will say it was risky doing it this way as a spring will be a rocket and destroy everything in its path if it slips. They are eight!! This was a risky move on my part and I am not advocating doing it this way. It’s just the way I did it. Make sure you have a long Allen wrench the correct size to go the depth of the Timbren bump stop before starting the project. I was then able to push down on the lowerA-arm and slide the Timbren between the spring and A-arm. Ensure the silver spacer in the Timbren is facing up. As I was holding the Timbren up from the A-arm between the spring coils I put the Allen screw on the Allen wrench and slid it in the bottom whole of the Timbren. I pushed the Allen screw through the hole and then inserted black spacer washer over the Allen screw. Pushed the Timbren up and tightened screw. I used a pair of vise grips and connected it to the Allen wrench for tightening leverage. As I reinstalled A-arm bolt and ensured my spring marks aligned. I continued to ensure all spring markings aligned as I loosened spring compressor. I finished reinstalling the one side and then tackled the other side. The first side took me about 2 hours as I figured out how to do it. The other side took me about 45 minutes to complete.Product review: I should have installed them sooner as I tow a trailer with about a 450 lb tongue weight. Towed a trailer about 2500 miles round trip with no proposing or sag. Helps greatly with body roll while towing or not. It’s a great product and alternative to air bags. With no trailer weight there is a slight stiffer ride. And I do mean slight. Have not received any complaints from the teenagers when they are in the back seat. That could be because of their added weight but I do notice a slight stiffer ride when I’m alone not towing. The Timbrens do make contact with lower A-arm all the time. If I was to remove the top spacer there may be a gap and ride smoother but then it could act like the bounce stops and hit hard on smaller bumps. They are pricey for being a double length bump stop. However, if you tow with a good amount of tongue weight they are worth it.If you are a home car mechanic and know how to deal with springs and compressors this won’t be a bad install. Give yourself about 4 hours incase you run into rusted bolts.

Best money I've spent on my minivan
This product improved our minivan stability and handling dramatically after being installed. I replaced the spring seats at the same time which are plastic things that were destroyed after 8 years. Together, the minivan feels like new and improved everything about the car when empty and particularly when loaded with people and luggage. Great great product. I opted for this vs suspension airbag supplements because there was no maintenance or monitoring of air pressure required.

These were fairly easy to install
These worked as advertised. I used them on my 2014 Honda Pilot for pulling a pop up camper that weighs about 2200 lbs. They stiffened up the rear suspension and stopped the sagging that occurred from the OME parts. These were fairly easy to install. First side took about one hour. The other side took about 30 minutes. The ride comfort remains the same after installation, no one has complained of a stiff or jolting ride in the back seats. Before installing, I had considerable sag in the back, but almost none now. Pulled the trailer 7000 miles in April and was really glad I had invested in this suspension enhancement as they kept the car nice and level. I would recommend and I would buy again.

Vraiment efficace !!

Easy installation but doesn't do much
Installation is easier then manufacturer stated. Took less then 15 minutes per side. Does prevent bottomming out but does not improve the ride height of sagged Honda Odyssey springs at all. I do recommend buying them but don't expect much for your money.
