DuraGo 29596009 Front Wheel Hub Kit

Very happy with purchase. Used on my 2006 Hyundai Elantra. I had replaced the passenger side bearing about two years ago, I had purchased the bearing press kit then from harbor freight for about $100 and thought it would be worth buying since I would eventually have to replace the other side. (if one goes, the other probably isn't far behind)The Elantra has over 350K miles on it, so I didn't want to spend tons of money on parts for it, this fit the bill :-)I had just replaced the bearing on the passenger side, but for the cost of this kit, I figured why not replace the hub as well, this saves some time not having to remove the bearing pieces from the hub side. you still need to remove and press the bearing into the Knuckle assembly.They don't sell the bearing already on the hub assembly because it needs to be pressed into the Knuckle assembly first, then the hub pressed into the Knuckle assembly.Process went as expected. aside from having to also replace the lower ball joint, the boot was cracked and was on its way out. might as well change it now then rip it all apart again later.So, no more 'Werrrrrrring' sound and hopefully it lasts for many more miles.

The screw holes for the brake rotor are not drilled in the correct location. These holes are centered between the studs, and Hyundai is slightly out of alignment with that. Didn't notice this little detail until the spindles were pressed into the bearings. Ended up drilling new holes in the rotor to match. Also, the bearing is a split-type. It was really sloppy until everything was tightened up. Fingers crossed that this lasts, because replacement is a real pain.

Fitment was correct for my '05 Elantra. Parts were is in good shape. Fast delivery. Make sure you are prepared to press the bearing into the spindle and press the hub onto the bearing.

The built in Amazon garage has this product listed as fitting a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon. IT DOES NOT. All of the parts are 1-2mm larger in diameter than the original parts and will be destroyed in the press during installation. Look elsewhere.

Retaining clip is different but it fit. Might be difficult to remove. Bearing and hub seem to be good quality so far.

This kit would be much better if the bearing was pressed in for you so you would have a basic bolt on affair. Instead you still have to get the bearing pressed on, and for the "DIY'er" that's just not a common tool in the shed. Still the kit doesn't show the bearing on so assuming it was would be silly. I got this for a Hyundai Elantra. As of now it's fixed my problem, how long will it hold up is anyone's guess. I just wish companies would sell the bearing pressed onto the hub to eliminate the need to bring it to a mechanic or machine shop as most people don't own a hydraulic press.Everything was in the package unlike the previous reviewer stated. Axle Nut, Snap Ring, Hub, Wheel Studs, and Bearing. When comparing the cost of a bearing vs cost of a hub this was an easy choice for me, and less labor for the shop. If they used the old hub, they'd have to spend time getting the old bearing off. With this set up they can simply install the bearing, remove the old hub, put the new one on and done...
