Plug and Play and PLAY!
A-TECH memory has become a solid standard in memory products, and for very good reasons. I remember calling and driving all over Phoenix in the old days, looking for someplace that has this brand in stock. Thankfully, I don't have to do that anymore. I've never had an A-TECH memory module go bad, and I can't say that about any of the other brands. I was upgrading an old system to give my youngest child as her first computer. I bought the module, plugged it in, it was immediately recognized and working perfectly. Not times were cut down by 3/4, and Windows screens suddenly had instantaneous behavior.

Perfec for Upgrading the Memory of my Vintage HP Pavilion DV2 Laptop
Bought this Module to Upgrade the Memory of my Vintage HP Pavilion DV2-1010LA (Single RAM Slot) before Forcing Windows 11 Pro on it (Single Core 1.6 GHz AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 Processor) and It worked perfectly at it maximum 800 MHz frequency. I finished my ME BSc with that device, a gift from my Dad (RIP), so It deserves all upgrades it can take. I even got a way to install an M.2 SSD using its WWAN Slot B-) (the one next to the Memory Slot).

RAM was provided exactly as per the specification and works 100% in my aging laptop.
I purchased the 2 sets of 2 X 4Gb Memory chips for some older Toshiba U400-13K laptops with 2 memory slots. The chips from ATech worked perfectly in both the laptops for which they were purchased. Overall 90% plus rating for the service provided.

Great upgrade for an old laptop
I read posts from several different forums about expanding the RAM of a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop with a max of 4GB. I decided to risk it an bought this 4GB SODIMM and replaced one of the two existing SODIMMs with it. After a reboot, the 1525 did recognize 6GB of RAM. That may not be much these days, but it is a 50% increase. It gives my copious number of browser tabs a bit more space to head off Swap. NOTE: Everyone stating success with this upgrade said that replacing both 2GB SODIMMs with 4GB each still only yielded 6GB recognizable/usable space. So only replace one.

A-tech 4 GIG DDR2 memory modules failed after 8 months
These were installed in Lenovo T61 in April 2019. Worked fine until a few days ago ( Jan 2020), At that time, laptop would not start up. Gave beep code that indicates bad memory modules. Removed 4 GIG modules and replaced with 2 Gig module from another manufacturer. Laptop now starts without beep code and appears to work fine. Thus ,my impression that these memory modules have somehow become defective. Laptop was disconnected from any power source from the last time it was working until I tried to boot it again. So I think it unlikely that some power surge/spike could have damaged the memory modules. It's too late to return these modules and I expect that the warranty/support deadline has also expired. And it seems unlikely that the T61 itself somehow damaged the memory modules in some other way? ( I am open to speculation about this) As some of my other DDR2 memory modules are 8+ years old and still working, I don't think its unreasonable to expect that these 4 GIG modules from A-tech should last longer than 9 months. My experience with these A-tech modules ( 100 U$) is probably the exception, but still disappointing.
