Exactly what was needed for recent surgery. For my initial mastectomy years ago I used a shirt with pockets meant for drains, but that meant I had to wear that one shirt constantly. This comfortable belt allowed me to wear whatever I wanted and did a great job supporting the drains after my recent explant of reconstruction. The pockets are roomy and the belt is not restrictive and is nice and stretchy. And this is a fraction of the cost of a mastectomy shirt. Definitely recommend.

As others had mentioned, this did not come with a shower bag. I had to take my drains out of this and clip them to a lanyard my hospital gave me after my mastectomy. No big deal. I wore this drain pouch belt from day 1 after my surgery until I had my drains removed. It worked perfectly. I am not a small girl, I am about a size 18 and this belt fit around my waist just fine without any discomfort. I liked how you can move the pouches around on the belt so I could keep my drain grenades on my stomach while I laid down and didn't risk laying on them. The pouches were the perfect size to fit my drain grenades and I could easily take them out of the pouches and put them back in by myself. I think this product was one of the best products I got for post-mastectomy.

I’m 40 years old and just had a double mastectomy for breast cancer. These two items were SO helpful and honestly I liked them better than the shirts with the pockets. The shirts with pockets were good to have too but I liked this belt the best. I felt that the belt was flexible with where you could move the pockets because they can slide on the band. Because of this they didn’t pull so much on my drainage tubes. I could position them where I needed them….up, down, left right, more in front, more in the back etc…. The band itself is incredibly comfortable. I wore for two weeks and it never hurt me or made me raw or dug into my skin. Highly recommend. The mesh shower drain holder was awesome too. Never had one issue with it. This is a must have set with drainage tubes!

Both of these items will make life much easier after surgery. The blue bag for showering can just barely fit two full-size JP drains on each side (4 total). The two pink pouches that go on the belt are a little small to hold two drains each and the pocket flap does not have any Velcro or snap to keep it closed. Drains seem to stay in pretty well anyway. You could add extras fabric pouches (homemade or purchased) to the belt if needed.

I couldn’t have made it through breast surgery without this product. Belt was awesome to keep tubes in tact and the shower bag was a bonus as well. Great product. Buy it if you’re having any kind of breast surgery.

What I liked about the drainage pouch was you could fit 2 drains in one pouch. Which was handy for me as I had three drains. It was less bulky than what the hospital gave me to use. When I went for my follow up my surgeon really liked it too and wanted to know where I got them. The shower pouch works great also.

This was such an awesome addition and helped me to use it at night, or with clothes without drain pockets. The shower Cady was so helpful, and dried quickly. The pouches fit 2 drains and the shower pouch fit all 4. I am size 2x and the belt fit comfortably. Price is great, I sent one to a friend also getting a mastectomy, she loves it too.

I ordered this before my double mastectomy and it has been the best purchase. I absolutely hate the drains but this makes them much easier to deal with. The mesh bag comes with it to put them in when showering and all of it has been a lifesaver.

This bag set helped me through a miserable time after my mastectomy - problems galore with my seroma meaning different styles of drainage bags being used and different problems encountered each time.However - at all times I could do something with this bag to ensure I had it comfortably and securely with me and out of the way when travelling. Able to secure it when asleep (I am a very restless sleeper!) it ensured I didn't accidentally add to my problems with my sheer, natural, wonderful clutzy clumsiness!If you have to have a drainage bag, I can only say try this for whatever style you're going to end up with, feel free to adapt, think a little outside the box and this had me covered for everything.Thank you!
