This is such a beautiful book! The illustrations are full of warmth and joy. I’m coveting the idea of butterfly print cushion covers! Once again Bickford-Smith has combined a beautiful and meaningful story with the most incredible illustrations

The Song of the Tree has everything..... wonderfully written prose and amazing artwork, it is engaging and stimulating on so many levels.I am a huge fan and am never disappointed. Coralie Bickford-Smith has a unique talent of taking a simple idea and turning in to a visually beautiful adventure. My nephews love it and have gotten in to the habit of having my brother read it to them every night :)

Beautifully written and illustrated. This is a book to love! I’ve read it again and again and I’m looking forward to using it as part of our school curriculum.The text and story are lovely and the use of colours in the prints , simply captivating. It shows the power of illustration.

This rare gem of a book is visually stunning with bright colours that really pop. I bought it as a bedtime read for my four year old boy and the story keeps him enchanted right to the very last page. He especially loves spotting the little animals hidden in the intricate foliages. A truly beautiful book.
