A Solid Tool With Flaws to Take Note Of
I bought this a few days ago as I do a lot of video calls and some streaming and was especially unhappy with my webcam just on my monitor. I have some good quality lights for video that had been doing fine, but I figured more light as well couldn't hurt, so I bought this. Overall my experience with it is positive so far, but not groundbreaking.I'll start with the good. The general design is easy to use and adaptable. The light arm: Its easily adjustable to just about any angle. The light itself can get quite bright, and the different levels of brightness offered really help get the right lighting for your setup. The different light temperatures offered are nice, even if not overly broad, but it really only helps the product. And the light diffusion is great, I never felt having the light pointed directly on me was too harsh (unless I had it on full and neutral temperature as I have a lighter complexion) And the remote is a little basic, but as such not hard to use and feels sturdy. The Camera Arm/Mount: This arm is a bit stiffer. This can be a negative (I'll get to those in a second) but its also a benefit as it allows it to support many different camera options and weights. If your light shifts a tiny bit it may be unnoticeable, but if your camera angle starts drooping its very weird. I also like the camera mounting system. It can be a little odd at first, and will be especially so if you're not familiar with camera equipment. But the instructions are solid, and once you get it together it is sturdy and adaptable. It can work with just about any webcam that has a mounting screw. It also works with GoPros which is nice, and has a separate mount for a cell phone if that's more your style. The head of the mount allows for easy rotation and pivoting to get the best angle too, just be aware it isn't a ball head mount so you won't have unlimited control of any angle. The bad:The Camera Arm: As I was already on the camera arm, let me just say that it was too short for me. This may not be the issue for everyone as all setups are different, but with my 27" monitor it was too short. It is shorter than the light arm for some reason, which is actually long enough. Because of its shorter length and the aforementioned stiffness it became quite a pain to angle. I did find a way to get it setup where it can work, but this goes into my next problem area:The Mounting Clamp: This thing is beefy, which generally is good for holding up weight, but its also an issue. I appreciate the firmness of the clamping, but the clamp size with it means it can't clamp firmly to small edges well. If you do that, and don't spend time carefully balancing the weight, it will start tipping and swinging because there is extra room from where it's clamped to the hinge. This would be less of an issue if the aforementioned arm length difference wasn't a thing. The bigger issue of it is along with them mentioning "clamp it to your monitor". I knew this was likely a bad idea and tried every other option before it, just the arm length made it my only chance, and even then I did it with a janky monitor I'm replacing soon. Its not a good idea. DO NOT CLAMP TO YOUR MONITOR. In general it marked the screen, and when it pivoted it further scraped up the display. You can't see it well in my picture, but near where it is clamped on the monitor is unappealing scratched now. I got it pretty stable hanging off just the bezel of the monitor, but it took a balancing act and honestly isn't perfect for my setup. I need more light on the other side due to lighting in my apartment, but if I move the light to that side it will tip and scrape the monitor as the camera weight is over there. I'm not risking scrapes on my main monitor on the right to do that either. So what it will likely end up being is that I think the camera will end up back on my monitor and I might put my good camera light on that arm bouncing off the wall behind the monitor with the ring light on the left directly on me. I know that won't help most people, but I figure some more lighting and camera knowledgeable folks might appreciate the ideas that can be done with it.TL;DR: This is a solid piece of kit for those that need more light in video, especially those that do a lot of video calls or streams to justify investing even a little into it. Just be sure to check the size/length of the arms to see if it will fit for you, and don't actually clamp it to your monitor unless you're willing to live with scratching it up.

Holds My GoPro Hero 8 Black Perfectly, OSMO Pocket With Polar Pro Cage Works Great Too!
The light is an added bonus as I was simply trying to find a clip mount for my GoPro that I could use on the side of my desk. I knocked my tabletop tripod over a couple times, and while the GoPro can probably handle the 6-inch fall, having to get everything put back in order was a hassle. This is especially embarrassing if you are chatting with someone or live streaming. This clip mount solved the problem, and is easy to move out of the way. No more balancing act. Anyone who has a GoPro 8 with a Media Mod knows how heavy the power and video cable seem when trying to balance a smaller tripod. Just get this and the issue is totally gone. Now the camera is up off the desk, and it can now overhang the desk, allowing me to get better face-cam out of it.Also attached my DJI OSMO Pocket in my Polar Pro Grip Case and while the whole case setup including the phone was a bit much, I was able to use the side mount and then bend this holder to make the OSMO stand back up straight. Again, this may seem like a simple problem, but a normal tripod would either use the bottom mount or need the OSMO to mount sideways. Unfortunately the charger port is at the bottom, so if you are recording for a long period of time you will need to take breaks and let it charge; but not anymore since this leaves the bottom mount open, and therefore the charging port accessible.Onto some complaints as I do have a couple. The clamp should be shipped with a piece of cardboard between the clamps. This would better protect the foam which is inside the clamp, as mine came with one clamp partially inside the other causing the foam pad to be ruined during shipping. I have lots of foam so it isn't worth shipping it back over, however, someone else may not notice and damage something they attach it to. Be aware of this. Another complaint is in the soft metal used where the bendable portion meets the clamp. This is a very soft metal and you will bend it instead of the actual bendable material if you do not somehow hold it in place. I gripped a few inches above the post and bent the stand how I wanted, but do not expect to bend this thing anywhere near the bottom. You will break the post clean off. I don't know why the manufacture didn't put as strong of a metal holding the thing together as what they did inside the bendable stand itself; bad execution here. Luckily I am not going to be changing the setup too much, and for the price it would be better to just have two setups rather than moving one around; the camera mount is a quick-clip release with an action cam mount. This is a standard GoPro mount that is used with many accessories including my helmet mount and my chest plate mount; if you have GoPro accessories you will find this stand to fit in nicely with them. The bendable metal part is actually stronger than the clamp. While trying to bend the stand to where I needed it I noticed that the clamp itself was getting a lot of downward pressure, causing the top and center to grind into the surface it was mounted to. I had it attacked to a solid wood shelf at the time, so there are small marks where the clamp was rubbing hard against the surface. This leads me back to the foam pad. If something had been done to protect it better, and the pad was larger than the clamp rather than inside it, this would be a perfect item. Because the manufacture cut so many corners so close to the finish line I wont pretend that this item is going to be with me in a couple years; it feels cheap in all the wrong spots, but the price is good enough to forgive most of those shortcomings. I would have liked it to be a couple more dollars and gotten some steel reinforced mounting posts instead of what I assume are aluminum. Will keep an eye on the manufacture and buy more in the future to see if they up their quality that last little bit. They could be a Fifine level company if they took that last step. Anyone who doesn't know Fifine should become familiar with some of their simple mixer products for their price and build quality. Other manufactures should take notes. I am unaffiliated with either company, I'm just putting it out there. The ring light is actually really nice. It can be adjusted from Daylight (cool white), Warm (yellowish), and a 3rd option that is perfect for mimicking an incandescent bulb (orangish). Each of these can be adjusted for their intensity and the amount of light you will get out of the small ring is amazing. My biggest complaint about the ring light is how small it is. The point of a ring light is to go around the camera so that you have even light from the camera's direction; when the light is too small to fit my GoPro in its too small. Everything else is perfect, but you will need the light to be near your camera instead of around the lens since there is almost no feasible way to get a clear shot through it. Since the stand for the ring light is much longer than the one for the camera it has much more sway, so small movements can send the light into a jiggle-fest. This would be very noticeable if your camera was trying to film through the small hole in the light. Keep that in mind, as the ring light is a good light, but not a good ring light; it still worked perfect for what I wanted, and that was just to even the amount of light out on my face for the camera. A larger ring light would have been more useful than the 24" (guessing) stand the small light comes on.

Kinda wobbly...
The clip holds it securely to the table, and the flexibility of the light and camera arms are a good balance between movable and sturdy. My only problem with this is that no matter how tightly the arms are screwed into the clip base, they still wiggle. Bumping the table, even slightly, will make the camera shake and could mess up a recording or look weird in a video chat.

Stopped working - customer Service reached out
Update - the original product stopped working just outside of the return window. When the company found out, they reached out and are sending a replacement with no requirement to send back the defective one.In my opinion, great customer service makes up for a defective product any time since the variable of the manufacturing is usually out of a vendor's control.

Works really well, wish ring was larger
This doesn't quite function as a true "ring light" since the ring is so small. It's moreso a spotlight. However, that works for basic webcam functions. If you're trying to film make-up vids or high-quality camera recordings, I may caution about that. But for work video calls with a basic webcam, it's great.

D&D/Zoom/Covid webcam savior Best gift
I bought this after the first covid lockdown happen because all of us had to use video calls to connect with people. I needed a webcam holder and some light to enhance my calls. It really brought my D&D discord sessions to life. All my friends immediately notice the upgrade on my webcam. It gave me the freedom to move my setup any place I needed.I love this device, especially the light. It gives me that extra glow. This was one of the best purchases I made during the lockdown. If you need extra light and a simple step up, then give it a try. The best part is the flexibility it provides. I can get all kind of angles out of my camera and light. If you want to up your streaming/webcam quality, this is the device to help you.

Not bad but needs improvement
My purpose was a camera holder I could easily swing in front of my screen during ZOOM calls so I could position my zoom screen directly beside or in front of the person on the other end, and look like I was actually looking at them as opposed to looking up or down as many people do. I needed the camera to be at eye height. If I had a fixed set up, the device would work fine. But because I want to swing it easily back and forth, the device needs to swivel and doesn't do that very well - if you do it using the bendy tube to which it is attached, it's a constant guessing game as to how far to bend, or how to tile, because as soon as you let go, the tube starts to turn back to where it was before you adjusted. So you guess and over adjust, hoping to find the right spot. The tube is not consistent in how it relaxes, and so this becomes a 3 minute guessing game. The camera tube also needs to be about 6 inches longer to enable it to be tall enough to be in front of bigger screens at the right height - or to be the optimum eye height to do interviews etc and look like you are straght at the camera and not up the nose. Finally the clamp needs a fair bit of room on the desk behind it in order to clamp on and off - so you need to pull your desk 5 inches from the wall to do that. I ended up having to build something for it to attach to other than the desk in order to get it to do what I wanted. The light is good.Depending on your purpose, this is a good buy or a bad one - if you want one that is quick to adjust, and the right height, dont get this one.

Works as intended
It works fine. The lights are bright enough for a webcam. My only complaint really is it's incredibly stiff. I'm no weakling but for a webcam that weighs nothing it shouldn't be this stiff, it's hard to move the arms in the perfect spot especially when you need to do minor tweak from time to time. Some one used this for a DSLR or Mirrorless camera then I'd understand it being like that since the devices are heavier. But you wouldn't be using this one for professional camera's in the first place since the light wouldn't fit around the lens properly.I used it a few time, and it works fine. I'd just like a less heavy duty neck to make things easier.

seems well-made, the clamp is surprisingly strong!
The light is reasonably powerful, and has a decent range of brightness settings. The camera mount is strong and there are several possible configurations, depending on your camera or device needs (the included smartphone grip will help if you don't have a webcam)I might wish the camera mount arm was a bit longer, but it is not TOO short.

decent light, strong clip, phone holder not long enough
I use this clipped to the back of my monitor for video calls. It works great for that purpose, i find the clip strong enough for that. As other reviewers have mentioned, the phone holder should be longer so that you have more flexibility for placement. If you just need it for work video calls this is a great affordable option and is a huge improvement to your lighting situation if you are in a basement office or somewhere else without much natural light.

Great light bad camera holder
It's fantastic the light is amazing, the only thing I would change is that the camera holder would be the same size as the light rod. I use it while streaming when I paint miniatures and it works well.
