Color Yourself Calm Adult Coloring Book: A Mindfulness Coloring Book Paperback – January 1, 2015

This Color Yourself Calm A Mindfulness Madalas book was first sent to me by my boyfriend for Christmas and I fell in a love with it right away.I am not one who normally falls in love with a coloring book because I am speaking of more then giving the book more then a 5 star quality and design rating. I am meaning liking the.pictures so much that I wish to keep it long after I am finished coloring it.The reason this is unlike any other mandalas book I have seen where it gives you a beautiful color Mandala for inspirationand then gives you a similar mandala to color.The one thing of note I will mention is the book is not printed on "average" coloring book pages. Flat porous paper that takes several types of media well. I can only think of the word "gloss" (like that of some children's books that have illustrated pages. Where markers ink would not sink in and could wipe off, and pencils could scratch the picture on the opposite side. I asked to.artists. one friend the other family's advice . They both suggested gel pens and that has worked beautifully. As a precaution I let each color dry first.Thinking this book was so nicely done I gifted this book to my boyfriend sending it to him for Valentine's Day . I would highly recommend this book too others as well.**edited for clarity.

After seeing this book on the shelf at my grocery store (for fifteen dollars), I decided to look some up on Amazon. This one still appealed to me the most, and it's just as beautiful in person. The example/colored image is slightly different in detail from the blank one. Not a big deal, but at first it threw me off as a perfectionist wanting to mimick the example for my first try. I plan to buy more of these books.

My friend has this book and recommended coloring books for adults to ease stress and for relaxing. I read the reviews of other books and came back to order this one, I haven't finished the book yet, but I really do enjoy it. I used some colored gel pens I happen to have around the house so I did not have to spend money on fancy pens or worry about the thickness or thinnes of a pen. I highly recommend this book for anyone jump starting into adult coloring books

I began coloring several years ago, before it was fashionable. Now I am always looking for new and interesting designs. Color yourself calm added a nice variety to my rather large collection. Anyone wanting to give coloring a try will enjoy this book.

Bought this aa a gag gift for my brother's 70th birthday - figured he needed to stay 'sharp'. Might look into this as I age. Bought the gel pens for 'coloring' - paper seems hardy.

I purchased a new copy of this book and it came with some of the pages already colored in! Ridiculous.

I really liked the mandalas in this book. Although the colored version isn't exactly like the black and white one, I like seeing someone else's idea of what it could look like.

I have liked this case and the picture of a lion. I would recommend it as it is a lovely fit and is comfortable to hold.
