KANATI MUD HOG M/T LT305/70R16 LRE 124Q Mud-Terrain Light Truck Tire Only

Bought these tires when I rebuilt my 1998 Expedition to replace a set of Mickey Thompson MTZ's. I've run Mickey's for the last 15 years but was trying to stay within a budget and the Kanati's were half the price of the Mickey's. I've only got about 1500 miles on them so far, but they seem to be wearing well. I'll have to update later if I notice any wear problems. You do have some road noise which is common with an open tread design, but it is not overbearing and if your windows are down it's almost completely covered by the wind noise. Traction is great whether on the road or off. Snow and Ice last week and didn't even need 4x4, took it to the hills a few weeks ago to check on a food plot and ran several miles of logging roads (4-wheeler trails) in mud, rocks, and gravel and never once engaged the front end. Wet traction on the road is as good as any highway tire which is spectacular for a mud tire. I'll be buying a set of Kanati Mud Hog's for my Jeep soon, as the Mickey's on it are showing their age and will need to be replaced soon. Definitely recommend the Kanati's for the money!

Awesome tire and for a ridiculous low price!!! Very happy with them! This is my second set and I will most likely continue to run these on my truck! Iv had nitto mud grapplers and toyo open country’s to Mickey Thompson’s and super swamped and these are amazing tires that you cannot beat for the price! They last really well for a mud tire and I travels states as a pipe welder so I put allot of highway miles as well as backroads and mud miles and they do great on all! They don’t vibrate ridiculously or hum too too loud but about normally for a mud tire. I haven’t gotten stuck yet, they have a very nice tread pattern on them! Over all just order them bc you won’t be disappointed!!

Where not has noisy has I thought they would be the manage water in about 1.5 feet amazing and they float on soft black Florida mud very nice

The best value 35’s I have found. I have tried them all. These are better lasting than the STT’s I had 2 sets back. I will purchase again and probably again if they still sell them.

If I could give a negative number I would. Tires were delivered with one of them being defective from the seller. No way of knowing until mechanic was trying to balance the tire. Tire wouldn’t balance until almost 8 oz of weight was added. Seller will not replace defective tire because it was already mounted. How else would you balance a tire, unless it’s mounted on the rim! Very poor customer service!!! Simple tire refused to replace the tire and amazon did not help either! Amazon first promised a refund for the tire so we could replace it and then they went back in their word. They placed a claim and then denied it. So we are stuck with a 200$ tire that is bad ! DO NOT RECOMMEND SIMPLE TIRE!!!!
