Cute and very effective iron
Unique and cute, comes with a very long cord and a holder for when it’s hot. Steams very well and works well on every piece of clothes with good temperature gauge. This was a good buy and will last very long.

You will want to iron just so you can use this baby
I had no idea what a good iron was until I spent a little money and purchased this. It is so great! It heats up super fast, irons incredibly well (I appreciate the weight so I don't have to press down too hard), doesn't get goopy (somehow, my old iron always got goop on it, which was a concern every time I had to use it due to the transfer concern), and shuts off automatically so you don't burn the house down. The steam function is fantastic -- no drippy water, just the right amount. Also, it looks really sleek -- like a serious piece of equipment. That's a minor point but these things are designed, and I appreciate the effort that was put into this one. I will leave it up to other reviewers to give a more in-depth analysis -- just wanted to put in my two cents based on decades of reluctant ironing until now.

Great Iron
I love this iron. Works like a dream, lots of steam and so smooth across the fabric. I have no idea how anyone could rate this as other than five stars. Great price

Strong steam but water spray button broken
It has always been a dream to get the Rowenta steam iron since 2020. Finally got it. Steam quality is as advertised. There is some water leaking out the holes every once in a while ( but I prepared myself for it as I saw the complaints in the reviews). What i didn't expect was for the water spray button not to be working. It was easy to press and all I heard was air so I pressed it continuously to see if pressure had to build up before the water started spraying but no success. Btw the water tank was full at the time of this attempt. The button for the burst of steam was had a bit of resistance when pressing and it works fine so i guess that's how the spray button should have felt. I am disappointed that the spray button is broken. Also, i wished they gave a container that would make pouring the water in the iron easier.

Nice iron!
In my opinion this iron is not heavy as some reviews stated. I absolutely love it! Plug it in and you will be ironing in no time. It glides smoothly over the fabric. I did accidentally melt the collar on one of my blouses, I underestimated how quickly this iron would heat up. This is without a doubt the best iron i have ever owned. I think nothing looks worse than someone wearing wrinkled clothing. If one has a decent iron it only takes a few minutes to make your clothes look nice. I have been living on my own for almost 50 years, so I have owned several irons. I love the retractable cord! Makes storage a breeze. The weight of the iron is sufficient to decrease the effort required to get wrinkles out. I do wish the water reservoir was a bit larger, but that is not a deal breaker for me. The temperature adjustment is in an awkward place which makes it a bit difficult to read. I do recommend that you use a pressing cloth if working with delicate fabric as i melted the collar on a synthetic blouse. Overall i am extremely pleased with my purchase!

Great iron/steamer
So far, best iron I have owned. I love that it steams so well (sometimes too well- it will set off our smoke alarm if we aren’t careful!) I also really appreciate the retractable cord. Crossing my fingers it holds up!

Used item in a new box (Issue was resolved by seller immediately)
I was sent a used iron in a new package. The water tank had moisture in it (could be from testing at the factory) , the chrome accents were scratched and it looks like someone wiped down the base plate with a sponge because there is residue all over it. Also in the package there is a card that should be attached to the base plate for protection and it was just thrown in the box.If it was just the moisture in the tank I wouldn't think anything of it because of the water tested sticker on the tank but the other issues don't give me any confidence that I didn't just get a repackaged returned item.I could be wrong in my assumptions and it may just be a product of a lazy worker in the testing group but Id rather not take my chances on something that has the ability to grievously harm the user if damaged.Update: I have updated to 5 stars because it is a great product and the issue was resolved immediately. I was sent a replacement the next day which did not have any of the above mentioned issues other than moisture in the tank from testing which isn't an issue. The iron itself works great and I could safely recommend this product now.

Looked At A Lot Of Rowenta Irons…..
I owned a Rowenta 20 yrs ago. I wanted another one because I loved the one I had. I looked at many different Rowenta irons before purchasing.I felt I needed to use it for a few months before reviewing. The new iron is no where even close to the Rowenta quality I owned 20 yrs ago. This iron leaks. It drips out of the opening door of the water well. The instructions state clearly to keep the water well full and it won’t leak. That is a lie. It drips water all over everything I iron. Very frustrating. And there is no way to stop the leaking. It leaks out the tip of the door of the water well. You can literally hold the iron face down and see the water drip out. It just seems to me this should not be happening. Very poor design. Now let’s talk about the iron plate. I’ve used this iron maybe 20 times since purchasing. The edges of the iron plate are black. I’m going to have to purchase some sort of iron plate cleaner. This should not be happening. I’ve had irons I used 10+ yrs and the plate never looked like this. Or needed cleaning. The iron is light weight. Love the slim tip. I find the water well difficult to put water in. And the temperature dial is a disaster. Does not get nearly as hot as other brands I’ve owned. After using it a few months I can honestly say I wish I had returned it. This iron is in no way shape or form the same quality of my first Rowenta.Fortunately I bought this iron at a Black Friday price. Being totally honest here. It’s the worst iron I’ve ever owned. It’s clear to me I’ll be replacing it with another brand sooner than later. No more Rowenta irons for me. Very disappointed in my purchase. Very disappointed Rowenta has fallen so far. Rowenta once made a superb iron. Sadly not anymore.I’ll never buy another one.
