Night Night Bananas
Purchased to wrap my Canna's and Bananas over the winter. We have 2 hardy Canna, 2 Musa Basjoo, 2 Absynnian dwarf, and 2 Cavendish. All purchased as a lock down garden overhaul and have been incredible in the garden all the way up until around November. We had a our first frost (-3C) in early December and it turned all the leaves to mush overnight. So I was a little later, but have now trimmed back the leaves, neatened up the base, and wrapped them up warm for the winter. I've secured the fleece wrap with some little dongle bungees that I bought for garden furniture covers and these work great. Not too tight but keep it in place in the wind. Finally a freezer bag over the top so that rain can't get down into the leaves and cause rotting. First time for me, and I don't have the same time Monty Don has to lift and replant every year, so hopefully this will be more than enough to continue with my banana giants next year! This 30g fleece is good down to about -3C, but double wrapping will obviously improve that. It's great that it can be machine washed too!The fleece comes as a concertinaed pack which works well when using, however I opened the whole lot out and rolled it. This way I can take the roll and manage cutting length off a little easier.

Just right
I held off writing this review for a couple of months until I'd had a chance to use it. It's the perfect weight - thick enough to be far stronger than the tissue-thin stuff I bought from the local garden centre, but not so thick that it risks damaging delicate plants. Doesn't rip easily when you tug on it. Price has gone up about 12% since I bought, but still seems sensible price for 10mx1.6m. I avoided the 2m width as some reviews complained they received 1.6m so may as well order that size! Original advert showed a ROLL but of course you won't get that unless you're ordering quarter of a kilometre of the stuff, hahahah! Advert now shows it folded, which is how it arrived. Having it on a roll is much more convenient, so I simply opened it all out and folded it in half so it's 0.8m wide and then rolled it up on a piece of bamboo, job done, stores away neatly and is very easy to dispense then. I would definitely buy this again.

My winter flowering plants stayed snug and warm
It's been a while since I bought this protective fleece, I used it for the first time last week, along with some self made wire stakes to stop any wind damage, and I was so pleased with it I was prompted to write this review.I had some fears that it wouldn't be thick enough, but I was wrong, it kept my winter flowering cyclamen and primroses snug and warm, and they should have a good chance of re-emerging next autumn, although for now they will hopfully continue to flower through the winter season. Many thanks to the seller & Amazon

Thick fleece
Easy to use and cut to length needed, provided you're not fighting any wind. Only time will tell after the winter is over if this has stopped the current daily hard frosts affecting my new, not absolutely frost hardy clematis'. But it claims to protect down to -5C which is colder than the thinner fleeces more commonly available, which are pointless in my experience. I think with a gentle wash, this fleece would remain intact and be reusable. Good value for money and pleased with my purchase.

Cheap and effective plant protection
I used the fleece to help reseed a lawn. Previously pigeons have taken the grass seed, but the fleece stops them from doing this. The result is a brand-new lawn within 2 weeks. The fleece acts like a miniature greenhouse. Easy to pin down, and just as easy to take up again afterwards - and re-use later.

Size issue.
I ordered the 2mx5m size but on arrival though it looked narrower - on measuring it was only 1m60cm wide. Didn't bother to contact seller as it is only fleece. Did the pull test on it and it did not rip so hopefully it will be nice and strong and last more than one season. Time will tell.

Even better than expected
Really pleased with the quality of this. Jack Frost been visiting and it's kept my plants and young veg snug and happy. Easy to handle secures without rippingš and seems strong whilst letting in light, water and air. Impressed and looks like it is robust enough for more than one season which is always a bonus

Looks like a quality product .
Well packaged and easy to use. Have only just received it and wrapped up a couple of tender plants ,before the frost arrives.Easy to cut, and plenty of fleece for my garden needs. Canāt comment on durability, as have only had it for a couple of days, but still gave a high star rating ,due to its presentation in package.
