Great sandals for problem feet
I got these sandals in 3 colors - tried out the gold and went back for pink and turquoise. Fit is true to size, I got 8M. The sandals are substantial, pleasant fabric foot-bed that is not slippery. The sole is not slippery either. The heel is perfect, not flat. I can not wear high heels because of a broken ankle in the past, so I can not wear flimsy thongs without support. These sandals are secure fitting on the foot and will not slip. The leather strap is substantial with a nice decoration. The only thing, I will take care not to get them wet because of the nice fabric foot-bed. To me, that's worth the price!

I love the snake skin design
I love the snake skin design, so pretty. I normally wear an 8 and have had several pair of this style of the Minnetonka sandal. When I first tried them on they were a bit short, my heel hung over the edge. I almost decided to send them back, but then got out an old pair and measured them against the new pair. They were the same length, so I figure that the strap just needs to loosen up so my foot can slide forward a little more. They're very comfortable.

This is a great looking sandal that is comfortable too. Would highly recommend. I used to buy this sandal in a local store but can’t find them anymore. Glad to be able to get them on here. They aren’t even available on the manufacture’s website (in various sizes). They are a bit tight in the toe strap area but they usually loosen up after wearing a while.

Super comfy, cute sandals that live up to the Minnetonka name
I bought this shoe 10 years ago after I saw a friend wearing them, and wore them for years until they were finally worn out. I received my new pair last week and am happy with them. I read some other reviews that said the shoe has changed and is now cheap and poor quality. I haven't found that to be the case at all. The sole is as thick and cushy as I remember from my old pair, and the suede on the lining seems to be the same as the previous pair too. I'm very happy with them and expect I'll get as much use out of these as I did my old, beloved pair.

Comfortable, but large over the arch.
Fits the length of my foot perfect, but over the arch to big. Which surprised me with Minnetonka’s. I’ve been wearing moccasins since I was a kid, those you let stretch out to your foot. This is my first pair of sandals, I was expecting a tighter fit over the arch, that would stretch out to fit but even though their normal B width they were large. But I love lem very comfortable, will buy again, but will call customer support first for recommendations on sandals. Moccasins I already know.

Love these but a bit too wide.
I love the look of these sandals - the hardware and details are beautiful, the leather is soft but still rugged and they are super cushoned and very comfortable. I wanted to order every color possible...but when I walked in them, I realized that they are too wide - the right one even more than the left. The sandal moves around with each step, making me grip strongly with my toes to keep them on. I wear a size 8 and the shoe fits my foot perfectly as far as length so I can't get a smaller size.Rather than return them, I like them well enough to cope but I think twice before wearing them if I have to walk far distances or climb lots of stairs (they really want to fall off going up and down stairs).

Cheap Chinese garbage, bad sizing, poor quality
Cheap Chinese garbage.The first pair I bought of the EXACT same shoe years ago had lasted for almost 4 years with daily wear in the summer. I loved them and they were sooooo comfortable from day 1 - they were my favorite pair of shoes. Just last week the rubber sole finally wore out and split, and I had to find a new pair. I was thrilled to see that they still sold them. Unfortunately, just like most things, they are no where near as good as they used to be.I just got these today and they are horrible. They are at least half a size (probably a bit more) too small and the leather piece that goes between the toes is actually sharp (glue blob at the top that I will have to trim off with a knife) and it managed to leave a nice big welt on my foot the first time I tried them on - painful! My heel is hanging off the back and there is no way this is the right size.If I had known that these were now made in China, I would never have bought them, especially at this ridiculous price. Complete garbage. So disappointed. Used to be a good brand. Not any more!

Generally a Reliable Sandal
I get these shoes every year. I love them. They’re sturdy but pretty. I usually get them from a store, but with Covid-19 closures, I ordered online. I should tell you that I ordered TWO pairs—same size, different color. The brown pair fit perfectly. The black pair is unwearable—the thong that goes between my toes is stiff, scratchy, and tight. I can’t wear them without getting a blister. One pair is awesome; one pair hurts. Go figure. When I bought them in a store, I never had problems, so it’s probably a rare defect. I’ve been purchasing this same style sandal for the last six or seven summers and never had problems.
