Turns out I didn't need it. Wonderful product. Iron can lay flat and stay hot. Keeps it from falling over when fabric is moved for more ironing. Claims to have the versatility of being used as trivet. Didn't try that. Didn't need the iron rest. Very cool product.

So far, so good. I like that I can leave my iron in a down position while I'm ironing. I also use it when I've turned my iron off so my cats have a harder time knocking it off the ironing board.

I like this silicone rest. It is better than the metal one I used to use. It rusted after a few times I used it. This one looks like it will last and since it is made of silicone, no rust stains!

I sew all the time and needed something to be able to set my iron down at times when I didn't want to make sure it would just fall off my board or if I just wanted to make sure my little ones didn't come in and touch it. This wonderful Dritz Iron Rest is absolutely sturdy, thick silicone and I can see it lasting me for decades to come.

Far superior to the old fashioned metal iron holders. Grips the iron well when iron is stood on its foot. Absorbs heat really well. A great product and am so glad I chose this one.

High quality material. Maybe a bit overpriced but it's the price you pay for being lazy and buying online vs going to a real store and spending time to find it.No problems to report: the bumps allow more heat to be dispersed and your iron will stay steady.

The Iron Rest Pad was noticed by browsing recommendations. Never seen anything like this before and always wanted some kind of iron protector rest. It was a super low add on price so ordered. It is very simple and exactly as described and reviewed. It is weighty, soft , pliable and retains shape. It works great for resting iron on iron board and for cooling storage. Both without having iron standing subject to falling. The silicone material does get very hot, but did not burn or discolor. The pad has two holes in the end for securing the plastic tie and label. The label was removed but tie was kept and works best for hanging the item from my over the door iron holder after use. A highly required and recommended item.
