Bought these to add to winter packages for the homeless. We opened one to check out quality - they retain a lot of heat really fast! Shriveled up near a match (but didn't catch on fire) and tore only if you purposely tried to tear it along the creases. Great buy! - will definitely buy these again if we make more packages. The only issue was that we received 49 instead of 50...

Emergency Foil Mylar Thermal Blanket , 52" x 84" are great for holding one's body heat under almost any conditions. HOWEVER, they will MELT quickly when exposed to fire. Heat radiating from a fire is not a danger, but any flame will cause the Mylar to melt.

Dimensions seem 6" less wide than I remember. Description is accurate. Dang piece of paper in everyone - annoying.These are the only way to take the gf camping without complaints. I put one under her pad and she goes to sleep instantly. At $0.50 per sheet... compared to camping meals it's a no brainer.I also always take 1 for every new person I camp with. Regardless of how much I tell them to prepare, I've given it to the new guys/girls every time.They are light, -1 for the paper and ease of tearing if not careful. Although if they tear... they are still very very effective.

Great deal on bulk, I work with feral cat spay/neuter program teaching people to trap and give these out to many people to cut into pieces and use over traps while cats are recovering after surgery since they cannot regulate their body temp. and some people are not able to keep them in the house during this time.Also in cat beds or houses to help keep strays/ferals comfortable in freezing winter months.I also use them myself for an outside stray someone left at my house since he won't come into my house because of my dogs.Also keep a few in truck for emerg. purpose.

a good buy- useful to give to the shelter.these really do keep one warm- only drawback seems that you have to keep tucking it around yourself, unlike a blanket

If you need to buy a bunch of mylar blankets these are for you best price per blanket. It's an emergency blanket so it's thin and tears easily but they all do.

The people I gave it to was very greatful thank you. Delivered fast but package bag was open and so was the inside bag like someone took a few out I counted and there really was some missing, other than that the product ok.
