Great upgrade for the price
I needed to upgrade my old dell and I wanted to speed it up a bit. I did some research I found the correct RAM needed and made my purchase. It was exactly what I needed I went from a 4GB to 8GB and my computer is revived and running a bit faster. If you aren’t ready to spend a lot of money on a new laptop check to see if you can expand the RAM. The delivery was quick and I was able to install the new part with no problems!

Works Great
I installed this to increase speed on a laptop that I already switched to a Solid State Drive... did all of this just to find out it has a dual core 1300Mhz processor LOL. So of course the RAM upgrade from 4 to 12 GB (dual slot motherboard) was great but didn't do anything because the AMD processor on this laptop is crap. Since they weld the processors in, I'll have to replace the motherboard for about $45 and get a new AMD processor NO LESS THAN 4 cores, but going to see if it will support 8. The reason I'm saying all of this is because your RAM type and amount, hard drive type (recommend SSD or hybrid at a minimum) and processor type, size, and speed will ultimately determine how fast your computer runs. I would hate if someone bought this RAM, plugged it in, verified that the computer is reading it (under System Information menu) and then found their computer wasn't any faster like I did BUT blamed the RAM stick for there not being a change. You always want your system to idle around 10-15% of your RAM for a performance machine. Before I added this 8GB DDR3 stick the laptop was running at almost 50% cap for memory just idling with nothing but background processes running. Now it's around 20% which is well enough for what I'm doing with it.
